My lunch at a no name shop...

This was one of my regular lunch at a no name shop nearby Hau Kee, Sri Serdang.
This shop sells 'chap fan' and has changed ownership multiple times (till i lost count). The current one is also selling 'chap fan' and some fried noodles/rice. It comes with free soup & drink at a reasonable price.
During my first visit, i had this...
Can you guess how much is this?
I would have thought it to be around RM6.5 due to the portion i took.
But surprisingly, it was only RM4.50.
Unbelievable.
I did some calculation and this is what i assumed:
Yong tau foo costs RM1 per piece (hence total is RM3)
Fried noodles is RM1.50 (?)
This seems not right, either the food is spoilt or they are not making any profit from this...
Well, i did not get any symptom of diarrhea the next day, so i guess the food is save for consumption...
Anyway, i have been going there since then (like once per week) for their cheap non-halal 'chap fan'. Hopefully their business lasts....

What???? RM4.50 only? SO cheap leh. I thought this type of price for such big portions only exists in Sibu. I suppose food in Serdang is cheaper than in Damansara.

The person in charge gave you a discount maybe. Next time will you ask for a breakdown of the price to see whether your guess this time is correct or not?

Nancy Chan: yes, unbelievable.

Phong Hong: food in Serdang is definitely cheaper, moreover this shop is located below the low-cost flats where most students live.

Mun: maybe, since it is operated by a new owner. I dun ask for breakdown if the price is cheap, otherwise the person got annoyed and revenge back by charging me higher price...better dun ask.

That is cheap considering the noodle is quite a portion.

Wow! The price is really good looking at the portion, I want to move to where you stay LOL

Hahaha, you are smart not to ask for breakdown and risk annoying the person-in-charge.
