Sushi Zanmai again...

Whenever I craved for Japanese food, Sushi Zanmai would be the choice.
This is because it has seasonal promotional items with very innovative sushi...such as this 'Happiness Roll' (RM16.80).
it tastes fine, although it is not an authentic sushi roll...
not sure what they put, but there is slight tangerine taste in it!
luckily this is an one-off item, only available during CNY...and not listed in the menu book.
I also ordered a spicy ebi ramen (RM17.80).
The soup taste like our prawn noodles soup, but the ramen was served with broccoli and shitake mushrooms...another weird combination.
It wasn't spicy at all, and i have to put in lotsa chilli flakes to enhance the flavor.
I guess this is also not in the menu book....Well, i mean who would have order such fusion food in a Japanese restaurant if not for the promotion?
There goes my lunch that costs me RM37.95 inclusive of refillable green tea and service charges.

Same here. Sushi Zanmai is our regular lunch place. Two of my friends ate this prawn ramen as well and both of them love the tasty broth and finished drinking every drop of it.

Mun: yes, the broth is full of prawn flavor, kinda appetizing although I did not finish every drop of it.
