Despite being a modern city, some parts of Panama City are still pretty rundown.
The neighbourhood that I'm staying caters more to expats hence the infrastructure are in pristine condition, whereas the other much localized areas are just like any town in Klang Valley with road potholes, uneven road, rundown bus stop, no streetlights etc. These are due to under-maintenance and not because of vandalism (as commonly seen in Malaysia).
While the city has subway/city train and modern type air-conditioned buses, they do 'preserved' the identity of the 'heritage buses' too (like HK minibus that are still in used). Here's one colorful & refurbished old bus that is still in operation. Such buses are quite common, though it has no air-cond and dark inside. Different buses would have different decoration style, like carnival bus.
Nope, i did not ride on any of these buses, coz i usually go around places in taxi and Uber which are quite affordable and safer.

My 3rd visit to 'Luisito Chef' Chinese restaurant, this time i had stir-fried fish, pork and beef (all-in-one dish).
I'm a greedy person who wants every meat in one plate, but it was a bad choice. It was too 'rojak' and there wasn't any distinct taste, just slight taste of fish, pork and beef that are overpowered by corns and carrots. But well, i got some proteins at least.

My 2nd visit to 'Oh-toro' Japanese restaurant. I had bento set of teriyaki prawns (deshelled, yay!), fried rice, gyoza, onion rings and a sesame coated mochi ball.
This costs USD16 nett after tax charges. Expensive meal!
Itadakimasu!

I prefer your oh-toro meal than your Luisito Chef meal although both meals are also brown brown looking 😂
