We reached the resort at around 3. Most of my colleagues had reached there earlier and checked-in to their rooms.
Despite arriving after 3, my room was not ready then. A few of us got to wait in the air-conditioned seminar room.
I'm not those type of person who can sit still even in the comfy cooling room, hence went out wandering around and snapped some picturesque sceneries.
Blue skies, green grass, sandy beach and clear blue sea....such a paradise!
more greens....
i was shielding under the verandah while snapping these pictures coz the scorching sun is burning my skin
for some reason (high tide?) they don't allow anyone to swim or walk nearby the beach. See the red flag?
The red flag indicates that it is not safe for swimming. This area is guarded and the guards will tell u off if u attempt to swim😓
the shady verandah with couch, facing the sea...
these wooden houses are the guestrooms
My room was ready some half an hour later...Will blog about it in my next post....
Meanwhile...food first.....
Here's my first dinner in Club Med:
Salmon and tuna sashimi
And all sorts of foods from the buffet counters...
I tend to take deep fried stuffs such as fried fish fingers, burger patties, potato wedges and paired with a mug of beer😆.
Can't imagine the calories!!!
I chose an outdoor seat by the pool coz the indoor was too crowded. Too bad, the pool has closed, else i can get a good view of people swimming in bikinis and trunks...
My colleague got me a plate of foie gras...but is too oily for my liking.
BON APPETIT!

Such a beautiful place! Great to9 go there to unwind and relax. Food looks great too!
I would wander around and take photos of the beautiful scenery. Not sitting and waiting. Haha.
When on holiday, I too would not want to just sit around and wait. I will be excited to look around and take pics. Its a beautiful place. Loving all the pics of the surrounding area especially the sea and beach view. While on holiday, enjoy and don't count calorie lol! Outdoor seat by the pool is a good choice. Nice and peaceful away from the crowd.
Good that you go for a walk to take photos instead of staying in the aircon room because outside walk is thousand times better air circulation. Did u try to go near the beach and someone ask u not to? Wah, nice food. I have not tried foie gras because I can't bear to think of how the livers were forced to grow so big after watching a documentary. Since it is too oily for u, did u ask your colleague to eat it instead?
Sooo nice to see! Beautiful scenery, good food, all for free...
Such scenic scenery, it will be such a waste if don't go and take photos. So shiok, eating nice food with poolside view. So enjoyable and relaxing. I want too lol.
I am very familiar with that Cherating Beach area but never stayed at that Club Med. I miss buffet food so much.
