After trying KFC Zesty Crunch, i realised that Texas Chicken has its own version of Zesty Crunch set meal too....this 'Zesty Crunch' term seems to be a popular choice for set meal name.
Here's what it looks like:
Texas Chicken Zesty Crunch meal comes with one-piece chicken, mashed potato (which i changed to coleslaw), a chicken tender wrap and a drink (ice lemon tea is available).
Note: The other 2 'nugget-looking-thing' next to the fried chicken are not part of the set.
This set costs RM13.99 nett. I added-on another coleslaw for my colleague by paying an additional RM1.60. This add-on special price (RM1.60) is only available for set meal.
In return, she exchanged 2 pieces of Jalapeno bombers with me (the 2 piece nugget-looking-thing).
These 'bombers' are spicy though they taste good...
My tears flow after finishing the meal....coz the chicken, chicken tender wrap and the bombers are all spicy!
Good that the drinks are free-flow!
Satisfying meal and a wonderful evening catch up with my colleague!

Oh dear! I won't pay to eat and cry too. Did they give you extra tissues to cry?
So spicy! The fast food chains are getting hotter and competitive nowadays.
Nothing beats Jalapenos bomber. :D
I would not enjoy much if the food is all spicy. Plus drinking all those soft drink, make me bloated and full.
I have never tried texas chicken coleslaw. Spicy spicier it says in your receipt so must be super duper spicy la the chicken. I like the taste of the jalapeno poppers when usually I don't eat spicy food.
I didn't know Texas Chicken also got this zesty flavor. hah..hah... I must try the Jalapeno bombers. See can cry or not :)
Eh! So KFC or Texas better?
For me Texas means... honey butter biscuits.
I am interested and want to try this zesty flavour. Actually, I like Texas fried chicken.
Oi, I just scrolled down a bit and what did I see? KFC, McD and Texas Chicken in a queue. Moi, fast food week?
The outlet here in Penang does a crappy job preparing the fried chickens. The only things I can enjoy here are the honey biscuit and the free flow sweet tea.
