Artefacts from Panama Canal Museum

I couldn't remember when was the last time i went to a museum, maybe some 3 decades ago....or could be more...
A trip to the museum is a great educational trip to learn about a country's history. It's like a history textbook but with real-life visuals.
Entrance fee for Panama Canal Museum is USD10 per pax. This museum is a 3-stories building, clean and well maintained.
[Below] The barrel used in the construction of Panama Canal. This thing is hundred ++ years old.
Back then during their colonial days, there were magazines like this for public info/notification. Some of the illustrations are quite comical.
Harper's Weekly is an American magazine featuring foreign and domestic news, fiction, essays on many subjects, and humor, alongside illustrations.

Seems like the canal construction involved resources from various European, Latin America and Caribbean countries.

[Below] Public notification warning the foreigners of the disease from whores. This was during the days when Panama canal was in construction and there were many foreigners, particularly Europeans onsite. The lonely European men would engaged in sex services unaware of such disease they would get from the whores๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜…

I like visiting museum. Good way to learn new things, history and discover something we never know. The last time I went to a museum?? Early last year.

The last time I visited the museum was in 2019 when I went Vietnam Hanoi with my buddy. Other than that, I pay visits to the art gallery quite often.
