Phang Kee Dim Sum

I usually hav dim sum as brunch but there was one evening tht I decided to have it for dinner instead...
One of the few shops in the neighbourhood that still sells dim sum until late night is Phang Kee.
This shop was quiet on that Saturday evening whereas the nearby eateries were full and merry....
Looking at the menu, the prices seem to have increased a lot over in 2 years (since my last visit)!
 I had fried radish cake
 xiao long bao
 and assorted dim sums
tastewise so-so...but is ok to fill up my stomach!

I thought the whole array of Dim Sum looked delicious but you found the taste-so-so only! I think their chefs need you to tell them to brush up!! Most restaurants happily welcome feed backs from diners.

I went there this year after many years not going there because this is the only eatery opened very early at 7am and I was out looking for food at 7am. Yes, you are right, the price is almost on par with dim sum in aircond restaurants. After eating there once this year, don't think I will go back unless I am looking for food at 7am and other places are not ready yet, hahaha. lolx!

How nice to have dim sum for dinner. I have not gone to eat dim sum by myself. Maybe I should!

Never had dim sum as dinner. Solely. I would eat other dish and order dim sum as side dish.

Twilight Man: surprisingly this place has been doing well, despite having 'so-so' dim sum.

Mun: yea, decent place to have breakfast during early morning!

PH: well, if u dun get bored of eating 3 pcs of siu mai, 3 pcs of har gao, or 3 pcs of pork bun at one go, then u can go solo ;-)

Rose world: this is my first time having dimsum for dinner.

Nancy Chan: radish cake is always my fav...

Libby: I missed the SG version radish cake - both the sweet type and savoury type!
