Sometimes my dinner was abit 'lavish' after replenishing the groceries.
Here's our dinner...Got pork, fish, veggies and eggs...
Clockwise from top left:
Stir fried glass noodles with black fungus, shredded carrots and winter melon
Leftover omelette
Sweet & sour pork
Steamed golden pomfret
The fish is huge hence it was cut into half and only steamed the upper part.
The tail is kept in the freezer for another day.
After a few days of downpour, our curry leaves plant grew excessively. We have to 'trim' it otherwise it look like a bush.
After giving some to our neighbours, there were still a handful of leaves left so we decided to cook chicken curry.
The chicken curry dish to go with a plate of stir fried cabbage and carrots.
Dump all the curry leaves in there for more aroma...

Salivating at your photos. Me too, some day I am hardworking to cook more lavish dishes. Other day, simply cook as long can fill up the tummies. Lol.
Steamed golden pomfret. Yummy, I like that. Long time didnt have that. I usually buy black pomfret to fry. Fishes aren't cheap nowadays.
Wow! Looks like your head of household is very hard-working when buying groceries and raw food but now more people can go out so no need head of household to be hard working anymore. Long time I didn't eat fish steamed so I don't think I know how to handle the bones anymore. Lolx!
So many dishes, how many people? We usually have a meat and a veg...and a soup.
Rose world: yea, fish aren't cheap and sometimes no stock at all.
Mun: the head of household too ambitious in buying a week's grocery and ended up need to cook more coz not much space in the fridge.
Suituapui: only 3 people...I was shocked (*and almost LOL) when I see these on certain days.
The curry leaves will add fragrance to the curry! Yummy! Wah looks like you are like Nancy with many Vegetables and herbs in your garden. All 3 of you have green fingers?

I like steamed white pomfret. Long time I have eaten this. My curry leaves plant is small because I grow it in a pot.

My curry leaves in the pot is growing well because I position it under the water dripping from air con compressor. Lololol
Wow so lavish, got fish some more. I love steam fish but need to be careful with the bones. Sweet and sour pork and curry chicken for me too.
