Am I???

I have done this test 7 years ago, back then it was 50%, and now downwards to 45%!!!

You Are 45% Normal
While some of your behavior is quite normal...
Other things you do are downright strange
You've got a little of your freak going on
But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

Local Cravings - neighbourhood Nasi Lemak

This stall has been around for quite some time, jst right in front of the neighbourhood Shell petrol station. It is within walking distant from my house, but I dun usually frequented this area unless I'm droppin' by the petrol station to fill in some gas.
It operates in the morning from 6:30 onwards as to caters for the nearby office workers.
Offering a variety of warm food, such as fried noodles, fried rice, local malay kuehs, some dishes like beef rendang, sambal squid, sambal shrimps, fried egg, etc..
but their main attraction (i would say) is still the NASI LEMAK
Their nasi lemak is superb, the rice is fragrant, and all ingredients are freshly prepared with piping hot sambal (chili paste)....
p.s: avoid taking too much Nasi Lemak in the morning or u'll end up being sleepy afterwards!
well, in my case, i was on leave that day ;-)
bon appetit!

Abalone for Chinese New Year

This is a very over-due post which dated back to December/January. CNY has passed for almost 2 months now...but back then, as I mentioned earlier, I had some problem in uploading pics which causes all these delays!

December
Alrite, here are some yummy food pictures which i had taken during the 'photo-absence in this blog'. Rewind back the time:  Back when we celebrated "Winter Solstice" festival, i had the usual "tong yuen" (glutinous rice flour ball), which signifies harmonious and also marked the midwinter (almost "year-end of the Chinese lunar calendar"). The "tong yuen" were made of coloured flour ball and boiled with sugar/ginger syrup, but i had 'em in soy bean milk!
January
and when it comes to CNY, another thing to consider "MUST HAVE" is the reunion dinner.
here's one gift box consists of abalone and bird nest.
The abalone has turned into one main dish during the reunion dinner. Appetizing, no?
back in the office, some colleague baked cookies of all sorts and brought them to the office
just look at these colourful & "multi-pattern" cookies!
nice to see and nice to have ;-)

Finally, I managed to post pictures into blogger....

Well, if u noticed carefully, u'l find that i hardly upload any photos/pictures into Blogger lately. THAT was becoz i had this-very-technical issue with Blogger whenever i'm using IE browser.  I guess that the WAIT for Blogger to get it 'fixed' was jst too long, that now i switched over to Google Chrome jst for the sake of posting photos into blogger!
Due to this, u might hav missed out those 'moments', where i could possibly post up some juicy posts with 'picture-worth-a-thousand words' photos!
****sounding very emo here****
ALRITE, enuff of being emo....
Now that i found my way to solve tis problem, that i will make full use of this chance to upload a picture, hoping that it dun affect Chrome soon...*touch wood!
so, what's with this picture gotta do with my post here?!
ok, this is so un-related to the posting...
Anyway, i recently completed watching a chinese series, and i found this couple very sweet. This is one of the series promotional poster.
To describe this poster: Pure, sweet and lovely...LOL
On another note, i can't wait for the free trip to Shanghai next month. Flight ticket has been booked and visa has been approved! Yeay!
Talking about flight, my prayer goes to those onboard MH370. The search has been taking almost 2 weeks by now, hopefully the plane could be found soon!

16th Jobstreet.com MCTF’14 Career Fair is back!

Well, if you're keen in looking for a  job, do drop by at Mid Valley Exhibition Hall.

Date: 7th – 9th March 2014
Day: Friday – Sunday
Time: 10.00am – 7.00pm

This would be my 1st time attending a job fair as an interviewer, and I can't wait to meet the on-job-seekers who will be visiting our booth ;-)

On another note, i m hoping that my "claim" for the incentive trip to Shanghai would passed the Vendor approval, and eventually proceed to Visa application/approval. Fingers crossed! This is so OuT oF ExPeCtaTi0N coz i never tot of getting a reward as such, jst bcoz my boss isn't able to attend it. Is sort of like winning a trip in a prize draw! although this isn't a prize draw at all.
Well, the vendor is bearing all cost of accommodation, flight and expenses/per diem for almost a week! Imagine how excited this could be.

Peak Time

Life has been hectic for the past months and yet it's not gonna end yet...Hav been maintaining a high stamina to keep up with the pace and yet tasks being continuously pilling...The moment I slowed down, the load will drag til infinity high.
And I wonder, is this LIFE?
all about work and no play, no enjoyment...so suxxxxx!
sometimes enough is being enough....am I being paid to work like a cow???!!!
Mooo-mooooOOOOOwwww...
I guess cow's life is much better than mine
seriously....
Today is Friday evening, yet there's tonne of to-do in my list...seems like never-ending.
Well, I "stole" a few hours to sit back and relax @ KFC, and enjoyed some "people watching"
sometimes, it's just amusing to seeing couples or family-with-chaotic-kids having their meal etc...it helps me to temporary forget about my keep-on-pilling tasks....
and without noticing, I spent an hour plus enjoying my meal while watching people!
so, there goes my Friday evening.

Happy Weekend!

High School Sweetheart

With V-day around the corner which also coincides with the Chinese Lunar day-15 (which happens to be Chinese V-day too)...one cannot resist in picturing the romantic atmosphere which gonna filled the air on 14th!
dining out in restaurant or even bistro bar will be impossible as those fancy places will mostly fully booked by couples...or group dates!
alrite, putting aside those fancy mancy stuffs of dining in-style and having luxurious gifts as V-day present, I somehow reminiscence of my high school sweetheart...
well...erm...hmmmn....which I never actually dated, LOL!
this is kinda weird...coz my recollection of him almost fade since I left school more than a decade plus, and it somehow pops-up into my mind again reminding me that I actually have a high school sweetheart! *at least a superficial one....wuahahahaha!
And I wonder who's idea was it back then, coz it was our classmates who started with pairing us up which eventually I began noticing him...but well, high school ended fast and soon, everyone else have moved on and some are now married with kids....
and before I realized, I m no longer in my teens nor twenties...
seeing my classmate's kids (who are now schooling kids, not toddler!) even makes me realise that I m indeed old...and high school sweetheart seems like very "yesterday"....
Do you reminiscence of your high school sweetheart?

Dayeh Noodles

Went to try out this beef noodles shop, located opposite the parking lot where the weekly pasar malam (night market) is located. The shop is...
