Vostro 1320

Recently I got another new lappie from company. Counting the numbers of lappie that i had since started working, this would be my sixth, excluding loan units (that is for testing purpose, of course!).

I kinda luv @ first sight for this one coz it has 4GB RAM! Apart from that, it is also running on Windows 7...damn cool! Someting better than stoopid Vista.

For those morons who dunno how to utilize these, at least there is still one cool and useful thing about this lappie, which is the design, well, i mean the COVER. It is so shiny that u can even mirror ur ass!

Adam Lambert, u rock!

Been watching on last season American Idol (rerun) since the past few weeks. I can’t help myself from being so affectionately crazy over Kris and Adam. Both of them are talented and good looking, but too bad, one is married and the other is gay.

There were several great performances from Kris, but as I watched the few final shows, it seems that Adam dominated the competition by setting a standard so high that is hardly achievable by the rest.

It was then when he sung ‘Feeling Good’ that really stunned me. Oh damn, he was so fashionably stylish when he strut down the stairs dominating the stage and performing as if he was in a James Bond-style kinda-movie. Dun believe? You should watch THIS!

Farking cool ain’t he?

Each time when he reaches that high pitch note, i was like ‘awwwwwwhhh’....oh man, tis is so unbelievable, my jaws dropped and my eyes went wide. How he did it?

I have been listening to the conventional ‘Feeling Good’ song and i tot that Michael Buble’s version is the best, not until i heard him with his absolutely unique Adam’s style. Hell yeah, that was crazy.

Both live and studio recording were good, though some differences here and there but overall still as great, especially the finale part of the song. A twisted-dramatic-end to the song makes it sound so GOOD....

Happy Chinese New Year

I hope it’s not too late to wish u readers a Happy CNY. As usual, CNY @ home is a ‘not-so-merry’ celebration like any other Chinese family does. Well, i do celebrate it, but not in an extravagant way. There was the usual feast, which is the reunion dinner on the eve and plenty of snacks, but apart from these, house visiting has been limited coz some of the relatives opted to holiday abroad. Such a growing trend these days.

Anyhow, last year I hav posted some pics on the snacks, and this year i choose to post someting different...

Snapping a few from here and there, here’s my compilation:

One of the dishes I had for eve dinner – the infamous prawn, sort of a must have during CNY. Symbolizes happiness.

Besides, there were also the vegetarian dish with my fav broccoli and abalone.

Seaweed crisps, arrow head crisps, pistachios, assorted nuts, cookies, pineapple tarts...all must have in my list of CNY snacks, but i m not going to re-upload these pics again since it has been featured earlier. No worries.

But, what’s with the egg tarts?

Just happen that while i’m eating it and found them photogenic...thus, voila!

Instead of old Chang Kee currypuff, i’m towards eggie nowadays.

Decorations @ home have been kept simple and modest, there are no blinking lanterns nor calligraphy hanged, just some cheapskate cardboards.

And the one and only greeting card that we received...treasured this before it extinct totally!

Rants

It’s 3:53am now but i’m still pretty much awake. Shitz!

Thank God it is weekend, else...deep trouble on the next day.

The celebration atmosphere still on, and is still the peak time for family gathering. As usual, when there is a bunch of aunties gathered, they tend to compare each other’s kids.

Mum said:

‘Your cousin brother just bought a semi-d house worth AUD500,000 in Melbourne. See how capable he is!’

Hell yeah, feels suck when hearing this. So, what does it got to do with me?

So i said:

‘Ok la, i’l buy a house worth RM500,000 in KL lor, just wait lar...gimme another 2 years time...’

But i wonder, is that what she wants? We already got a home. So, what’s her intention of telling me this? Not that i’m not doing well. Mayb it’s just mere comparing, for the sake of...aunties’s nature...

I wonder.

Chain of Trust

This topic happened to struck my mind during a meeting with my boss a few days ago. I’m glad to have met a technie boss who is generous with his knowledge and willing to provide lengthy high end ‘lectures’...much better than my previous lecturers. And the coolest thing is that he did research too, not to mention showing us some real-life technologies which we never thought or imagined of.

Anyhow, back to the topic – Chain of Trust ~~~ sounds like some jargons.

In ‘layman’ terms, it is...chain----of----trust!

What does that mean?

Here’s the explaination,

If i m to tell u that next Friday is a holiday, would you believe me?

Definitely not, unless you knw that I got my resources from a trusted identity, for example the government who declared this.

You may not believe me either if I mentioned that i got the news from Tom, Dick, or Harry or whomsoever which u dun even know of.

But if the government is to bestow Tom as the President, and Tom announces the holiday, then the chances is that everyone will believe him.

Which means,

You trust A

A trust B

You trust B too.

See? As simple as that.

Well, I use to have a huge chain of trust being an ‘innocence’ kid, but as I grow older, it has been limited and shrunk, due to scepticism, hence explaining my nature of being a reserved person.

Asam Laksa @KLCC

It seems to be a habit that whenever i drop by KLCC, i will surely not miss their Asam Laksa. It all started during a hangout with classmates and it happened that we all ordered Asam Laksa. 

We are a bunch of fellas craze over this decent bowl of nudle...

years passed and we no longer hangout together...

but i m still loyal to this bowl of nudle.
