Another relative weds today...in another wedding season!Just like any other typical wedding banquet, there will be a door gift/souvenir as a remembrance for those who attended.
The common ones are chocolates in fancy wrapping box, fortune cookies, and....lastly, the traditional chopsticks.
Chopstick is deemed to be a more significant wedding souvenir coz it symbolizes unity among the couples (as it comes in pairs). Chopstick doesn't function well if it only comes with just a stick, in which the same applies to a marriage, whereby togetherness is important to keep it lasting.
