Night Stroll @ IOI City Mall (new wing)

[Throwback] Another nite stroll after work at IOI City Mall, this time my purpose is to 'explore' the newly opened phase 2 of this mall.
Before that....makan first (at Ah Cheng Laksa)
The curry noodle was not ready when i ordered at the counter, so I was given a number tag so that the waiter will deliver it to my table afterwards.
Noodles delivered...but the waiter did not collect back the tag....
Anyway, the tag shows '10km' and 'Kangkung a district in Kedah'...
Upon Googled, I learned that Kangkung is indeed located in Simpang Ampat, but it is spelled as 'Kangkong'.
~~~
After that, dessert!
Nope, i'm not having Ah Cheng ais kacang this time
but....
yea....Musang King sofuto!
RM4.90 for this one (if not mistaken).
The soft serve on cone was huge, but it was just plain durian taste ice cream...definitely not Musang King.
Well, Musang King is too expensive to be made as a cheapo soft serve, but its glamour name sure lured lotsa customer in trying it!
~~~
After then, jalan jalan at IOI new phase...
Back then, alot of shops & eateries were still under renovation. When fully opened, it would be the largest shopping mall in the country.
Since it has nothing to 'look see' except empty shops...i headed to the outdoor 'park'...
I was fascinated with such colorful display of lights
nice & perfect for Instagram
am sure families with kids would love to take pictures here...
or even youngsters
there are plenty of spots for outdoor 'picnic'.
the lights were still 'ON' until 10:30pm
(below) the facade of the new wing block facing the 'park'.
I believe more shops to open by this month prior to year-end sales.
I will drop by again in December😉
