[Throwback, end August 2022] I utilised my earned points to have lunch at Cha Chaan Teng restaurant which is located at Genting Grand hotel.
Nothing fancy, just a plate of roasted pork rice, nevertheless it was good.
My quiet lunch at the eatery. Not many people having lunch here coz this place is secluded from the popular SkyAvenue mall.
As for teatime/supper, i had this....
guess what?
something that is sealed to prevent the odour from leaking out....
yea, u guess it right...
it's durian!
*not musang king, just D24
meanwhile, on another day, my quiet lunch again at the same eatery...
This time i ordered a bbq pork rice (charsiew rice)
a mix of fatty and lean meat, quite good too.
as for teatime/supper, i had durian mochi
I did not eat the mooncake...brought it back home, for the following week (mid-autumn festival)
As for the mochi, the filling is real musang king, so it is creamy, sweet and flavorful. This box of 4 pieces cost RM25, which is claimed using points.
Meanwhile in the casino....there is a great deal for late night owls...RM1 or 1 point for a 'bao' (Chinese bun) or plain congee which is available on every Saturday, Sunday and Monday 3-5am...not bad....at least there is something to fill up the stomach when one is hungry in the wee morning.
nope i did not try....already in my dreamland zzZZzzz....

Both your meals get the thumbs up from me. I can't even remember the last time I ate durians. My partner bought me durian mochi a few years ago and I remember loving it!
Where did you buy the durian D24? In Genting highlands? Yummy! I always like to eat durian.
That's a neat combo of roasted pork rice and simply delicious content.
Both roast pork rice and bbq pork rice look good. When in Genting, can get hungry very fast. Wow! Durians in Genting? The durians will help keep your body warm.
Decent long row of pork pieces.
Aren't durian banned in hotels, hmmmm?
