Urban Fresh is a newly opened supermarket in the neighborhood.
Located at the LG floor of the Pinnacle building, this supermarket is quite hidden though the building is located in the middle of the busy commercial area.
Went there some time last month, days before CNY...
i would say that this place is somewhat an 'atas' supermarket coz it sells imported fruits at extravagant price...
Guess how much is this Japanese apple?
RM39.90 sebijik!
and this Japanese pear is RM69.90 each😨
it also sells red banana....this is the first time i m seeing it!
there is a section for alcoholic drinks and non-halal stuffs
Jim Bean whisky
my favorite spam - Tulip brand, but my elderlies find them salty...so we no longer buying this.
there are also imported brands from Korea, which i never try before
and our fav brand from Singapore...
we only buy this brand nowadays
(below) is an interesting yet unhealthy snack...nope i did not buy (though i wish too)....This is an imported stuff and the price is not cheap...
hams and sausages in the non-halal section
if u fancy some ice-cream, this place shall not disappoint u...it has a few huge freezers fully loaded with a wide selection of ice-creams.
i want all of them!
Hopefully this place can sustain long so that i can try out each tub!

I have also seen such atas fruits being sold at Jaya Grocer. I wonder who buys them at those prices. I agree that Tulip brand luncheon meat to way too salty. I stopped buying because of that. My current favorite is also Golden Bridge. Not so salty and tastes nice. I want the Musang King ice cream hah...hah...
Thanks for the review. Long time I didn't go there. I hope they can sustain until I can go there. 🤞 Nowadays I buy ice cream using panda shops when there is a huge discount. So far so good, all still are frozen on arrival.
Red bananas...that's new. :D I wonder what they taste like.
Can only see and wonder how those expensive fruits from Japan taste like.... I have seen our local red bananas and it has been a long time since I last tasted the red bananas. I think it was quite nice to my taste.
Oh my!! RM40 for an apple?? Not for me. Haha.
Waa I thought nothing could be less salty than the 40% less sodium Tulip. Any less will be very bland.
I've recently had those red bananas as my hubby's acupuncturist grows them. Tastes rather normal to me - sweet-sour like that.
Wow! RM39.90 sebijik is damn mahal until I cannot swallow it. I also saw many melons in Japan that sold for over RM1000 sebijik! Ridiculous and insane lah.
I still find that Tulips brand has the best luncheon meat in the world!!
