Da Bu mien @ Super Kitchen

This place is also one of my fav place whenever I craved for chili pan mee...but nowadays I got bored with the anchovies and runny egg...so I decided to have something else, hence I ordered the 'da bu' mien...
'da bu' mien - basically it is the same type of noodles used (as the chili pan mee), but with minced pork, and 'charsiew' pork slices...
the 'charsiew' pork doesn't taste like the normal ones, their version has a hint of five spice powder taste. This noodle comes with a small bowl of manicai soup (black bowl in the above pic).
I also ordered an ala-carte pork dumpling in soup (it comes with 4 pieces of pork dumplings)
taste rather so-so, can't expect much since this is not their specialty.
ok, satisfied my tummy for now...
Bon Appetit!

I had this noodle before at a chilli pan mee place in Damansara Uptown. Sadly it wasn't well executed and the noodles were starchy and soggy, so it was not a good experience.

I love everything you just ate. I could eat a dozen of dumplings anytime, provided they are delicious.

Libby: me too!

Mun: this outlet is in SP, same row as Tealive (previous Chatime).

Phong Hong: they overcooked the noodles? too bad...

Twilight Man: yea, I like dumplings of all sorts, as long as they are savoury!
