Georgetown, being one of the UNESCO heritage site has now become one famous tourist attraction...
Not only it attracts foreigners but also locals as me...
Hence we travel up north to capture the trail and to savor some nice food...
Over there we found one chic lodging...known as "Ryokan Chic Hostel"
not sure why it was given such a japanese name though...
this place has a very nice bar
a place to chillax and get to know other backpackers who stayed there
they have traditional games offered at the lobby...the local 'congkak'
but i m not sure what is this called, anyone knows the name for this game?
the place is secured with door access with PIN, hence outsider are prohibited from entering the stay area
jst located oppostite this hostel is a cafe famous for its fusion food
and some very colorful shops, both tiles and the paints
i wonder if such tiles are in production anymore...
