Greenworld JianPei Hotel, Taipei

Cotton candy up here but down there was raining non-stop.
Nasi lemak with rendang chicken....The triangle yellow thing on the rice is not cheese...it's omelet.
Superbly good. MAS nasi lemak never disappoint😋
Reached Taipei after an almost 5 hours flight.
Bought an EasyCard from the airport (TWD500) and took the MRT to the hotel.
Their local subway/train lines are well established....with clear signboards and covered walkways to connected interlinks.
Took the airport train from Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 to Taipei Main Station (TWD160), then changed to MRT at Beimen station --> Nanjing Songjiang station. Costs around TWD20 only.
Inside the MRT....bright, clean and spacious.
[Below] From Taipei Main Station walking towards Beimen Station.
Along the way the MRT is underground....this is the 'view' after I exit from Nanjing Songjiang station....The rain has stopped but still drizzling.
It got dark around 5:30pm.
Another short walk about 5 minutes to reach the hotel. Took my sweet time to walk while enjoying the 'view' and browsing thru some restaurants around the area for dinner.
Hotel check-in was breeze...
Got a corner room at 6th floor....quite decent size with a king size bed...
The toilet....
Open the glass door to the shower room and surprised to see a bathtub in it.
yea, a full-size bathtub!
And there's a window next to it.....you can pull down the blind when you're naked😂
Ahhhh....comfy king size bed!!! This can fit 3 person!
There's a mini pantry too...with tea and complimentary bottled drinking water, replenished on daily basis.
The room amenities are quite complete...with hairdryer, safety box, mini fridge, slippers, free wifi, tv with multiple channels (mostly news channels)....
and....
a Japanese-style toilet bowl with seat heater
So comfy with the heated seat....
[Below] The room entrance.
Breakfast is included throughout the stay. 2 coupons per day.

After done with check-in and refreshing myself....went downstair to hunt for food.
The surrounding area has lotsa eateries, convenient stores and malls.
There are a variety of pre-packed food items in 7-11 and Family Mart too.
Such as Taiwanese style rice ball. Quite affordable...only TWD49.
All sorts of rice bowls...salad bowls, pasta, corns, cooked chicken breast, sandwiches...
Some of the menus from the nearby restaurants....just to gauge the price for dine-in option.
Mostly are Japanese-fusion food.
to be continued.....
