Stayed in The Westin during my last trip to Panama (in Feb-Mar)
A deposit of USD300 was required during the check-in.
The hotel is located in the Coste del Este neighborhood commercial area with a few office buildings nearby.
By evening the place turned quiet after most of the offices closed. Even the Starbucks closed at 8pm.
Just some snap shots taken from the 9th floor where the pool is located.
Quiet on both weekday and weekend's evening as well. I guess their people don't go out at night, unlike Malaysia with lots of nighttime mamak, steamboat/hotpot place, malls etc.
This neighborhood consists of mixed development of commercial and residential buildings.
I stayed in one of the tall apartments here back in 2023...guess which?

During the weekend, I drop-off some clothes for the hotel laundry. Then the next day I received a 'note' informing me that the clothes were ready but I wasn't in the room, with a "Do Not Disturb" tag hung on the door when they delivered it.
Such a nice courtesy.
Flipped the card, same message but in Spanish.

The room has a huge screen TV with multiple channels, which I hardly watch.
how many channels are there?
the TV is so thin and flat....The above side-view shows how 'thin' it is!

OK, my clothes finally arrived (the next day) while I was in the room. And it came in a box, sort of a gift box😂
So delighted to receive a box of my own clothes😂

My typical breakfast of rice with beans and some local dishes in the hotel's cafeteria. I tried ropa vieja (shredded beef). The flavor abit like "Ayam brand tuna with chili".....beef version, instead of tuna.
Ordered an omelet too.
When I wasn't in rush and have ample breakfast time (normally during the weekend), I would have a fruit bowl with assorted nuts too.
