The next morning, I went down early for breakfast. Was excited to see what they have to offer on the buffet table.
Turns out it isn't just a buffet table, but there are also separate counters/stalls for different cuisine/type of food.
For example, there's one 'stall' just for nasi lemak. It's self-service, so you gotta assemble your own nasi lemak with the ingredients provided there. Not hard though, just pick everything and dump it onto your plate. But the foreigners (who has not eaten nasi lemak before) may find it confusing and thought these are consumed as separate condiments. Maybe they should put a 'serving suggestion' picture, so that they know what to do.
The yellow rice, which is think is nasi minyak. They serve different type of rice daily for the nasi lemak (pandan rice, blue pea rice, santan rice etc)
Sambal for the nasi lemak. I like how they serve it in a traditional Malay periuk belanga (pot)
the rendang chicken were served in a periuk too....
The Indian corner, consist of naan and dhal/curry dipping sauce.
Another stall, tomato rice with chickens (in the wok, on the right) and papadam (in an old school large tin container)

Lucky Larry noodles stall. Self DIY - cook your own noodles & pick your own ingredients.
Eggs station - luckily this one is not a self-service stall....otherwise I couldn't imagine the havoc😂

Fresh fruit uncut...You can take the fruits but not the pineapple.
Salad bar
Fruit juices, cucumber infused water, plain water, coffee and tea. The pink one is guava juice, but it was served on alternate days (the next day was apple juice).
Lastly, from the main counter section located in the middle of the restaurant:
Pasta - this changes on daily basis. Sometimes it was aglio olio, carbonara or bolognaise.
Fried potato wedges, on the following day it changed to curly fries.
Baked beans
Bread pudding....the following day it was changed to pancakes
Sausages
Hams
Char kuey teow....this also changes on daily basis. The following day it changes to fried mee/meehoon. I prefer char kuey teow and fried mee than the plain white meehoon.
The dining area...spacious and bright.
