Korean Food for a Day

It has been ages since i last had japchae......
So, on one fine evening, I went to 'once-my-favorite-Korean-restaurant' and ordered a japchae set.
It came with 7 banchans (refillable) and a seaweed soup (non-refillable).
The restaurant is getting stingy by serving tiny portion of banchans....
This explains why my favorite Korean restaurant is no longer my fav these days.
Although it is refillable, I would feel paiseh if keep on getting the staff to refill😂

After done with this Korean japchae meal, my itchy mouth still wanting to munch on something. So, i went to CU mart to look see if any snack i could buy.
Decided to buy a corndog which is a hotdog on stick with deep-fried thick coating of cornmeal batter.
It was nicely packed in a box.
I forgot to mention without sauce, so the staff has squeezed some cheese and spicy sauce on it (by default). The deep-fried batter is oily, so I must remind myself not to buy this unhealthy food again.

Wah, nice view. You bought penthouse in pinnacle condo?

I have eaten a corn dog from family mart, very oily so I also won't eat it again.

Ya hor, the amount of banchan is so tiny! They should not be so stingy. I find it odd that the japchae is paired with rice. I would expect that it is japchae alone with the banchan.

I am curious about the corn dog. I have not eaten one before. I would feel paiseh and awkward too if I keep asking the staff the refill the banchan for me.
