Mun Kee restaurant has been the family favorite 'dai chow' place since we tried this place several years ago. It is also popular among the neighborhood (and nearby) due to the queue on weekends. Nevertheless, they have a queue system, and staffs are efficient. Service is quick and foods are served promptly. We usually order 5 dishes (for 5 pax) coz we like their dishes so much.
Here's our usual order:
#1 Sweet and sour pork.
#2 Tofu with minced pork.
#3 Fuyong omelet - it has shrimps and Chinese wax sausage (lapcheong) in it.
#4 Stir fried spinach.
4 dishes...before the fish head is served
#5 and finally the star of the day - Steamed fish head with black beans.
The fish head is their specialty, it was fresh with tender meat.
That's our hearty weekend dinner, once or twice in a month😃
