HTC Wildfire S

I recently have upgraded a few of my gadgets, and one of them being my mobile phone. Instead of getting an iPhone 4, i opted for htc which has Android OS. The phone comes with 3 colour choices, black, white and pink.
I have choosen white.
one thing i like it most is that it has a 5 megapixel built-in camera!
without hesitation, i shamelessly became the model of the pilot testing with my new phone cam ;-)
cool? no?

Happy Mid Autumn Festival

This year, I had my Mid-Autumn festival celebrated a day earlier as the actual day itself falls on Monday.
I did not lit the lanterns, these are done by sis. I was only there watching the lights!
Mid autumn isn't complete without the mooncakes. I only had a few pieces, as the mooncakes are getting  pricier each year.
and this is what i got from a colleague, an edible piglet!

New Lappie

I recently upgraded my working laptop with a new one. The old unit was too slow for a super-productive me and hence boss requested to change to a speedier unit ;-)
This time i was honoured to be given the privilege to choose the PC specs, so i opted for an i5 processor...
before i bid farewell to my old laptop which has accompanied me for the past 1.5 years, i took a picture of it as a remembrance.
goodbye old lappie...
to the new lappie, hope u can serve me well for my days to come...
rain or shine...u gotta operate hard!

Din Tai Fung

Last Monday, colleague and I went to have La Mian (noodle) and Xiao Long Pau (meat dumpling) at this established shop called Din Tai Fung @ The Gardens. It was an impromptu suggestion, and we drove all the way for 10km jst for the sake of having these.
Crazy eh?
sshhhh.....boss not around, so this is the only opportunity to seek food further than usual ;-)
we managed to get the private room for 10-person, despite not having any booking earlier
the interior is OK, food is so-so, but i wonder why is that place so packed with people?
overall, ambience was good, jst that the food is below expectation, not recommended, and therefore no food picture posted here.

Tong Kee Cakes

It's always a feasting surprise at home. We have the practice of buying cakes whenever we like, for no reason. This time, we decided to try out TK confectionery.
TK was an old cake house established more than half a decade ago. It used to have a premise in Pudu, jst beneath my mum's childhood house. That main branch is still around but it has expanded to other areas.
Few years back, it opened a branch at my neighbourhood and people seem flocking in for their signature egg tarts!
i have been a loyal customer whenever i wanted to have some freshly baked egg-tarts, anyhow, this time we decided to try out some new goodies, hence bought the cakes instead!
the cakes were jst so-so, nothing to shout about, but having cream cakes once-in-a-while does spice up my life ;-)

Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee

Been hearing alot about this place that served good chilli Pan Mee. It has been ages since i last had chilli seasoned noodle, and i m cravin' for it ever since then. My first encounter was "Kin Kin Pan Mee" nearby Sogo, and that was the luv-at-first-taste!
The noodle was at its best with chilli flakes which you can add according to your tastebud...it's really kickin' good!
Here's the food that i ordered...
for myself...
i was hungry that day, and i ordered an extra ala-carte dumpling soup...
didn't knw that the noodle portion was huge...so, the entire thing was abit too mch for my consumption.
here's the dumpling with vege soup
super yummyliciouos!
but i was too full to enjoy
to those who have no idea on how a pan mee looks like, here is a picture...
looks abit like ramen, jst stir every ingredient on top with the noodle and voila! the ever tempting luscious noodle is ready to eat!
