Movie treat and yummy food...

My birthday treat from GSC...woo-hoo...free movie ticket!
went to the Gardens to hav my meal after that...
@ their newly opened food court - "Food Garden"
ambience is just so-so...foods range from local to international cuisine...Pricing is like any other typical food court in Klang Valley...nothing special except tht it is N.E.W.
i ordered Salmon bento set which comes with green tea and miso soup
miso soup
steamed egg with crab slices...i like chilli flakes so much so tht i almost wanna cover the entire surface with that!
Seriously, the place is lacking the 'umphh factor' as to attract customer...i walked past it a few times but didn't notice its existence...
not until i double check with the guard!
till then
H.a.p.p.y H.o.l.i.d.a.y!

Go Green!

Who would expect the existence of a gigantic building located in a wet and cold forest like this?
i'm getting nearer...

to the Cullens' residence...
@ the road less travelled... gonna meet Edward...

dR3aM on!

just reachin' my office.

the office is full of clocks tht u'l get confused of the local time...

back to greeneries...tis is wut i see everytime having my meal @ the pantry

trees and jungles...but without animals...so 'dead'! hoping to see some monkeys there despite having 'alot' in the office!
they adapted the 'go green' concept too!

green is...GOOD!

Har Mee

I ain't a great fan of instant noodles. Used to hav it since skooling days till i dun feel like havin' it anymore. After about a decade of not touching any instant noodles, i m hooked into it again...nothing beats the satisfaction of decorating a plain instant noodle into a tempting meal!
Been experimenting with plain chicken noodles, but now i'v move on with 'har mee' (prawn noodles)...instead of using prawn, it was replaced with roasted pork! a colleague once told me tht she likes seeing me preparing noodles @ the office pantry coz they looked colorful and tempting, much like those sold @ hawker stalls!

Groceries shopping @ Tesco

Since Tesco is just opposite IKEA, we dropped by to do our groceries shopping.
before u further read on, a reminder: tis is J.U.S.T another crappy lame post...

if u tink tis might waste ur precious time, pls proceed to click 'x' on the top corner right of this window, else continue reading...
Tesco huge signboard visible from afar. Felt rather silly for taking pictures of this signboard, but hey, tis isn't the first time i'm doin it!

While people busy selecting their goods, i was busy snapping them...ok well, not them, but the market hall...
my fav section - junkie snacks!
ta-da! ruffles...more ruffles...more & more ruffles...omg, i can't control myself!
cheezels...lots and lots of them...
Jack&Jill potato chips (below)
ok, i hav been snapping a few of pictures of tis 'lifeless' stuffs, but yet no one is stopping me...
so, taking pictures isn't prohibited over here??? Great! next time i'l do with fish, bread, veggies, ice-creams, and other junks...
before i bore the hell outta evr'yone, tat's all for now...signing off...

IKEA, again!

Went to IKEA again, been there numerous times, but tis time brought my cam along to shoot some 'ideas'...*sneaky grin
IKEA, here i come...
Been taking a few of illegal pictures, below is one of my fav kitchen cabinets and dining table...
If i got such a nice & well equiped kitchen, i will do many wonders (of course cooking lar...), hmmnn...m tinking of baking butter cake...
The devil red kitchen
Apart from their exhibition hall, this is one of my fav spot in IKEA, yeapz, i mean their warehouse area...coz it's HUGE!
Despite being a warehouse where people pick-up their bigger-size furnitures, this place is 'user-friendly' with many signboards around...
If u r out of ideas on how to decorate ur house for Christmas, here is one tips! Besides stealing ideas, my intention of being there is mainly to look for dining chairs. Am deciding on whether to buy them...
Lastly, the trip to IKEA will not complete without having a great meal @ their food court.
Their famous 'chicken leg with lemon sauce'
and the so-called "manager's special"...oni $5.50
Sort of a local dish - nasi sri sarawak and curry chicken with papadam
also, yummy swedish meatballs...
When it comes food, i m sure to 'sapu' everything they'v offered - hotdog, currypuffs and their $1 ice cream...But not after having these scrumptious meal...that's for tea-time, of course!

Longevity Noodles

A must for every Chinese bur-day is to have Longevity Noodles. Unfortunately, i dun hav one @ home, as to substitute it, i had Maggi mee...And since i dun like hard-boiled egg, it was replaced with half-boiled egg ;P
This sums up to a 'bluff' longevity noodle!
Com'on! in this a modern era, who would prefer such olden-days meal when there is such yummy instant noodles in the market?!
Sis bought tortilla chips from Mark & Spencer...as my b'day gift! Yea, i luv chips!
But hor, the expiry day is just a month away...I wonder why Mark & Spencer used to sell things tht is about-to-expire, especially food items! The gift comes with a b'day card, which i received on 3rd...at the meantime, back wif the X'mas atmosphere, i got someting green & sweet from office...
yes, candies!
and well, i guess many shopping malls already done furnishing their X'mas decor...and shopping pamphlets...here is one special copy from Mid Valley - sort of a story book for kids!
The story brought me back to my 'once' imaginative childhood dream! It tells about a story of 2 kids who were so eager to meet Santa but ended up @ a carnival in the snow forest, with lotsa goodies around! Interesting...

Chocolate Box

Another 10 cent drop in local price for RON97. Great. Not too amused with the news but better still compared to 1.92!
I’m living life as usual, and been seriously chasing over $%^&*…yeap, I mean the ‘first character’. Life is indeed a box of chocolates, u’l never noe wut u’l get. And I thank God for givin’ me a 2nd chance to pursue my dream(?) Yea, still a question mark…coz im still uncertain if I m able to make that ‘dream’ come true. I manage to do something tht I wanting (to do so much) and I finally get it. Been crazy over my job these days…Sort of a marathon these days, coz I m catching up with things I hav missed out compared to my peers who hav attended their 3 months training! Well, the trainer has been goin’ super fast, and I’m baffled by her skills! Wish to hav 50% of her knowledge…life would b a bliss then! *slap forehead

Exam Week

Quoted from The Korean Times:

"The state-run exam for college entrance will take place today. More than 588,000 students will take the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) at nearly 1,000 exam venues across the nation from 8:40 a.m. to 6:05 p.m., according to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Measures will be taken nationwide to help students take the exams without hitches, including traffic control and the adjustment of business hours at offices. Workers at government offices and public firms across the nation, except Jeju Island, will be allowed to arrive at work by 10 a.m., an hour later than the usual 9 a.m. This measure is to prevent traffic jams in the early morning, so that test-takers can get to the exam venues in time.
Subway operators will increase the frequency of trains between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. as will bus companies. To prevent traffic jams, parking will be banned within a 200-meter radius of venues.
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority will restrict aircraft operations near the exam sites so that noise will not disturb students during listening tests.
A total of 125 flights, both domestic and international, operated by national and foreign carriers will have their takeoff schedules altered between 8:35 a.m. and 8:58 a.m. and 1:05 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. Air travelers are required to check their flight schedule in advance."

Well, the Koreans concern alot on academics, much like the Chinese and Japanese do. How good if these were being practised during the time i sat for my Uni entrance exam? I dun have to wait for an hour plus for public bus to get home while memorizing the crappy Kreb cycle...blardy hell!
But again, don't u tink they r doin just a lil' too much over public examination? It's good to give some conveniences and less disturbance during the exam weeks, but going far to such extent could giv much pressure to the students...People around keep focusing on the students and their well-beings...Some might tink tht having this sort of 'emperor' treats might benefit the students, but i would tink otherwise. I may not be able to eat nor sleep well when everyone else kept assuming how well-prepared I am as all other things have been set up for my conveniences, rite? logic?
Anyhow, the younger kids r having their skool holidays now, meanwhile, the older kids r having their exams in these few weeks...here i m to wish them...
