Hokkaido Cake

Don't be mistaken this for that famous Japanese layered cake, but tis one is just as yummie!
with MYR2.5 per piece, this 'cake' could be expensive for some, yet reasonable with the "aromatic & tasteful of a spongecake" with creamy vanilla fillings.
It isn't a real cake, more of like spongecake with cream fillings, yet it was given a nice name.
so, here is how it looks like...Doesn't seem appealing but tastewise is nice, though there isn't anything special (the 'wow' factor)...nothing hoo-ha about this but worth trying!
Bon Appetit!

Oasis Curry Noodle

I used to hav Curry Noodle from Oasis a couple of years ago. It was a huge bowl with thick curry gravy, lotsa tau-pok (fried beancurd skin, the puffy type), chicken meat, cockles and with mint leaves. It's a typical curry noodle from Oasis.
The shop has closes since, but it emerged into a new restaurant name a few years later, called "Uncle Chong Kopitiam", and it locates at another place from the original shop.
The bowl has toned down...it isn't as huge as it used to be...lesser ingredients, price increased, but still the same spicyness flavor.
Well, it shows the inflation has gone up very much...

Sunset at Technology Park, Bukit Jalil

Surrounded by greeneries by day, cool air by nite and scenic sunset in the evening, I hav no complaint of the working 'location'...though my job suxx!
This picture was taken at 7pm, at one of the location within the 'park'
Awesome!

Taiwan Dami Restaurant

Went for a late dinner (aka supper) at the "neighborhood eatery place".
As most of the shops closed at 10, there isn't any option left, except for a few, that is opened till midnite or some 24-hour restaurant.
Ordered a set meal, which comes with dessert and drink
judgin' from the price that is paid for this set, it seems abit overpriced, as the drink and cream puff were not up to par, and the rice meal were just so-so.
this rice meal is called "Dong-Po Pork Teishoku"...but i personally felt that the 'eggs' portion are more than pork meat. And the side dish is "ridiculous", sort of wrong material to paired with the Dong-Po pork.
ambience-wise, it is pretty decent, and comfortable with wifi.
This place is another "youngster place", as many teenager were seen loiterin' & havin' snacks at this outlet.
perhaps the older generation don't favor much of Taiwanese food, as they can easily prepared them at home!

I Dreamt of An Apartment

Well, the title itself says it clearly...
eventually i felt asleep (*in the office after the working hour) and had strange dream...
I dreamt of waking up in "my bedroom"...sort of an ideal bedroom in some 5-star service apartment...
It has some room service personnel helping out with changing the bed sheet. The bed sheet was new, comfy, clean and layered with striking green with grey strips. I feel like wanting to sleep on it again! Somehow, although i was quite "surprise" (in my dream) that i "owned the house", eventually my brain sort of interprets it as "it really is my house"...though it is hard to believe. Well, after it is a "dream" that turns out so real even my brain got fooled!
it looks something like this...modern, vibrant, bright and full of glass panels
my dream house, and my comfy bedroom
such apartment is rather pricey these days...I hope i could earn enuff to buy one soon ;-)

In House Cafe

In House Cafe has been around in the neighborhood for almost a year
it used to be super crowded during its earlier days...but the crowd is getting lesser & "controllable" these days...mainly b'coz people dun find this place that hype anymore...
the food portion is huge (of course it comes with a price!), and this outlet opens 24 hours a day...meaning, it never close!
Not only that, it is a decent place for meet up, with air-conditioned dining area, wifi and tv set to entertain the patrons...
it caters mainly for the younger generations, but it is also suitable for family dining...especially those who wanted to go for a late nite supper at a proper dining place...or early breakfast in the wee hours of morning (as it serves dim sum too!)
the interior is simple, with light decoration...
but somehow, the air-condition is too cold for many, as people prefer dining outdoor rather than inside the restaurant...
here's the drink counter...Among the offerings are various types of tea, coffee, juices, smoothies, pearl milk tea, soft drinks...whatever u named it they seems to hav it!
see these vacant seats???
it was too cold to dine indoor...the air-cond is centrally controlled and it is ON to full blast!
so, i ordered myself some weird drink...the drink menu is super long (than one ordinary restaurant does normally offer!)...and so i opted something that i hav not try before...
guess what's this?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
it's yam smoothie with red bean!
i was freezing cold after drinkin' that under a full-blast air-cond and fan...that could probably similar to having ice-cream during winter!
meanwhile, my plate of "yin yong" noodle (Cantonese style noodle, mixture of fried vermicelli & flat noodles) came after 15 minutes!
it was huge...didn't expect that big portion of noodles...almost the serving size for 2 person...but surprisingly alot of people ordering that too! These people were as hungry as me then.
Well, perhaps next time i should go to this place whenever i m near starving condition!
