Al-Diafah Sri Petaling (Middle Eastern Cuisine)

[Throwback
Back to Al-Diafah restaurant. Tried the Arabian sauteed veggies dish. It was served with breads.
I didn't know that there are breads with the dish, hence I ordered the shish tawook wrap.
The sauteed veggies has eggplants, capsicums, olives etc cooked till soft....similar to something I had in Emirates flight long time ago😂
[Below] Cross section of the shish tawook wrap. Comes with fries and a dipping (can't remember what it is)
Was full after finishing the wrap and the sauteed veggies so I tapao-ed the bread back home and eat them plain as breakfast the next day.
The bill came to RM44.10 nett.
This was in year 2024.....almost 2 years ago.
Overall, not my kind of meal. Will stick back to mandi rice or shawarmas next time.

I agree with you that the rice dishes or wraps are a better choice. There is a Middle Eastern restaurant at Damansara Kim which I have been meaning to try.

Ah, they have now only retained the upper 1st floor and I have yet to eat there when I wanted to eat there even before the pandemic. Let's see when I can get to go.

I look at your receipt and the time was about 10 pm. Ok, I think I would like this sauteed veggies dish as I like all the veges U list out: brinjals, bell peppers and olives. 😋
