Dinner at Chee Seong Restaurant

[Throwback] Family dinner at the neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
We prefer this place than Happy Garden Mun Kee restaurant because this place is indoor with air condition, much comfortable for dine-in during the hot weather.
We ordered the ordinary dishes, nothing fancy, just a decent weekend dinner.
Sweet & sour pork
Assam steamed tilapia
Stir-fried potato leaves
Claypot tofu with assorted veggies
Let's dig in....
Overall, a good meal, the dishes were done perfectly, except for the stir-fried potato leaves which is slightly old & tough to chew....but we still managed to finish it.
Total price for 5 pax is RM158.80 nett.

Ah, I still haven't found a suitable time to go eat lunch at this restaurant. Food looks very decent 👍😊

By the way, when was this night walk at MBS? I did not manage to catch those beautiful and bling bling Christmas trees last year's Christmas (with reference to your post of 5th April, 2025)

Those dishes although "ordinary" are the best! I love sweet and sour pork and assam steamed fish. Kinda reminds me of my family's Saturday lunches at Kar Hiong.

All the dishes your family and you ordered are my favourite, especially sweet and sour pork and claypot tofu. These two dishes are must order whenever having family dinner.

Nux: Thanks for replying. Probably I only "window shop" in the MBS Shopping Mall indoor and did not "venture" outside that is why did not get to see these bling bling Christmas trees. Lucky got your photos which you shared.
