T.G.I.F.

hangin' around in the office when everyone has left is part of the fun on Fri evening!
there's no better place to 'lepak' than in the o.f.f.i.c.e itself!
While everyone rush back home (and ended up stuck in traffic jam)...i kinda find solace in the quiet office with cool air (from the aircond of course!) and some instant food from the office pantry.
woooohooooo!!!
But I really enjoy savaging food from the pantry...which sometimes I could find treasures....such as the leftover cakes and ice-cream in the fridge...yummmzzzz!!!
and here's my typical dinner on a quiet Friday evening...complete with fruits (courtesy from the office pantry)
nope, I'm not watching movie...I m seriously working....
I luv my job...
I luv my job...
I luv my job...
I m the 'best employee' of the year....

My office recently also got a "self made" pantry with stocks such as these. When I said "self made" means got a few colleagues pool money together to stock up a cabinet with food. But... I did not join them lah, they said whoever wants to join have to kap RM 10 to restock every time the cabinet runs low.

Actually got 2 of them snacks every day, while I only once in a while, so I refused to be water fish. When I need snacks, I buy my own. :/

Haha! Me too!

At one of my previous jobs, I would frequently be the last one to leave (and sometimes not by choice since I was 1 of 3 people who has the key and I usually leave late so it's either trust a new employee with the keys or wait till they go back to lock up). However, since it was an advertising agency (and my client was GAB) we had beer in the fridge too, free from them, Heineken and Tiger, mostly. The beer is supposedly for the people servicing the GAB clients only (me + 3 others) but we told everyone they could drink it too, and the fridge was restocked every month. Free beer is good but after a while used to it dy and don't drink it anymore. LOL!

There's always a lot of food around too coz again agencies always receive stuff from both media owners (like Facebook, Yahoo, Google etc) who has sales personnel who would bribe us with food and send us hampers, snacks and also on the other end, clients, who would give us food they had in the office since they have it for free anyway and the junior staff enjoys snacking on them. We'll get Kraft stuff like Oreos. It was fun but the hours are horrible - usually I clock off at 10 pm so after a few years I quit the industry and came out to do my own thing.

RealGunners: if they are asking me to fork out $$$ for the self-made pantry, I wouldn't join too...coz in such situation, most stuffs would be finished by some 'kiasu' people, end up I might only eat a lil'. Luckily our company is generous with pantry supplies (no limit on budget), so we can enjoy free-flow of everything on the shelf, and it will be top-up every now & then.

Huai Bin: yea, we hav beer too!! but not openly available to everyone, it was actually left over, but I guess the whole carton has been discarded as no one drinks it & has expired! (everyone wants to maintain a good image in the office). We have plenty of cookies/biscuits/instant noodle upon request - Danish butter cookies, Oreo, Julie peanut butter, instant noodles with premium flavor...maciam maciam...When I first joined, I was happily munching on these for tea time, but now, get used to it alr with the free-flow supplies, so not as craze as before. Well I gained a few kilos, so need to cut down on those snacks too.

During the weekdays, the driver would picked us (me & colleague) from the apartment at 8am daily. Sometimes he would use different route...
