Yoshinoya Curry Katsu Rice

There were times I do crave for some curry rice...well, any curry will do!

So I went into this place called 'Yoshinoya' and ordered Curry Katsu rice, with add-on runny egg...Kinda jumbo plate of rice as it is the most expensive item on the menu...but well, when i crave for curry rice, there's nothing can stop me from having it!

Portion is nice enuff for a hungry eater...but I think their curry doesn't taste like Japanese curry....due to the strong curry-taste.

Anyway, heck cares...

i tink i shall jst stick back to their beef bowl next time.

Noodles with Runny Egg Yolk

Been craving for noodles with runny egg yolks lately...yea...i must be crazy!

Hence i cooked this miso soup ramen + runny egg...which was actually Maggi mee but the soup base has been replaced with miso soup bought from Daiso. Add in some chili padi and i got the improvised spicy miso soup ramen! haha, syiok sendiri...

 and not to be missed....when it comes to runny egg yolk and noodles, this chili pan mee should top the list!

Mariah Carey - Vision Of Love

Recently I hav been watching/listening to a few of Mariah Carey's old songs...and was so 'engrossed' with it...Why not? The younger Mariah is such a sweet, radiant & pretty lady with great voice and talent.

But too bad, that is the 'previous her'. I kinda miss this lady with superb voice and personality. She is much much much (x infinity) better than many young singers these days. At least she dun dressed weirdly & acting lewd in her mid 20's. The 'younger Mariah' can put Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Katy Pery, Lady Gaga, Ariana and many others to shame.

O Banh Mi

The other day I was clueless on what to have for dinner, and hence went to try out the newly opened Vietnamese eatery...which is no longer new to us (it already has a few branches in Klang Valley) - O Banh Mi.

 It specializes in Banh Mi, which is sort of a Vietnamese baguette, but as I wasn't that fond of anything bread/buns, I ordered something else from the menu.

 they hav set lunch as well...

 the place isn't huge but it has ample seatings...

 and here's my food - beef pho

 with add-on...the Vietnamese spring roll

 and lime soda

food was jst so-so...and taste kinda different...I wonder if that's the authentic taste or something wrong with my tongue...I've tried various spring rolls before in Vietnam, but this one that I came across doesn't taste similar to what I had over there...

Anyway, I guess this outlet has many room for improvement, especially on the pho...

alrite....I tink I shouldn't be commenting too much on other items which they dun specialize into....let them jst focus on their Banh Mi...*which I'm gonna try next time.

Weekend High Calories Lunch

This was one of my lazy Sunday lunch...all were bought from the nearby AEON Big hypermarket. Tastewise is slightly below par as u can feel the 'frozen-meat-taste' but nonetheless these were filling and cheap. Imagine having the entire chicken thigh with drumstick + burger for only RM5! This plate surely looks like some KFC combo set meal rite?

mum or sis will surely nags when see me eating AEON Big fried chicken & burger coz they both dislike their frozen chicken/processed meat. Luckily, both of them were not in when I had this 'enjoyable' meal!

What I did on Last Christmas (Dec 2015)

Alrite, I did actually went to shopping malls to look-see around on the X'mas décor...but not into the extent of mall-hopping. Went to Mid-Valley on the X'mas eve and glad to see the effort that they took to decorate the 'courts', despite many other malls have 'cut-down' on their festive decorations.

 It was lively and crowded as many visitors/shoppers took picture around the centre stage. There were X'mas carols, Santa Claus session and various activities planned throughout the day as X'mas day approaches.

 Yea, I finally experienced that 'Christmassy feel in a mall' this year.

 and back in the office, we finished off our yearly team's budget by having pizza party!

 and Baskin Robbins!

till then, no more lazy mode now and time to kick-start to a dynamic 2016!
