Eat Outs

Just posting some recent eat-outs.
1. Veggies World Cafe
Vegetarian yinyong noodle is now my regular order apart from the lui cha (thunder tea rice).
The chewy mushroom roots are used as a replacement for fishcakes. I quite like this place due to its clean and comfy air-conditioned dining environment, prompt services and affordable prices. This yingyong noodle is only RM10 nett.
They also do delivery via Grabfood, Foodpanda etc, hence sometimes it takes long to have the food served. Chor1 and 15 is definitely not a good time to visit, coz their kitchen is super busy.

2. House of Pok
This restaurant has a cute Chinese name 小猪猪 (xiao zhu zhu aka little piggy).
It serves meal set consists of 2 dishes with rice + mini side dishes consist of pickled cucumbers and crispy fuchuk. The mini side dish can be refilled once.
I had hakka braised pork with black fungus and minced pork tofu dishes (RM20.75 nett)
Taste OK, just like normal chapfan standard, but food is served warm and in a comfy dining environment with clean utensils (soaked in hot water)....
Well, that's the price to pay for the service, comfort and hygiene, as compared to the usual chapfan place.

3. Niko Niko Onigiri
This is a 'hidden restaurant' next to Kawan's Place. One may mistake it as a kiosk selling only onigiri but in fact there is a dining area behind the onigiri station. The restaurant serves both rice and noodles such as teriyaki chicken rice, chicken katsu rice, Japanese curry rice, unagi rice bowl as well as tea noodles.
I have tried teriyaki chicken, curry katsu and curry rice so far.
Here's my curry rice set meal which came with miso soup and potato salad. The rice is hidden beneath the omu egg. There are chunks of boneless chicken thigh meat in the curry, apart from the potatoes and carrots.
With such portion at RM14.90 nett, it is considered value-for-money.
the gigantic plate made the food look so 'atas'😂
This is a pork-free restaurant.
