Leave now to meet Jesus

What is this?
Power Bowls!
One of my 'staples' in Panama....I need rice and beans to survive😂
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I commute to the office by Uber daily. In one occasion....I was so thrilled to see this notification!
I'm not ready to meet Jesus with such short notice!??!
Well, Jesus arrived and i managed to land in heaven safely...
I can even rate him....i mean his ride😄
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Atrio mall in Costa del Este....somehow reminded me of Atria mall in PJ!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Popeye's Panama has arroz con frijoles (rice with beans) too!
But i like their coleslaw and mashed potato more. Their spicy chicken tastes similar to our Texas chicken.
USD6.10 nett for this set meal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My room in BVI (Caribbean). Huge king size bed that can fit 3 person! The hotel has low occupancy....I can count by one hand on how many rooms were occupied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rice and beans with shredded fish, coleslaw, sweet potatoes, cassava, taro.....very typical Caribbean staples. This was one of my lunches with colleagues at a seaside restaurant in Cane Garden Bay, BVI.
Rum mixed with gin. Very alcoholic.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My first time taking Copa Airlines. This was from Panama to Sint Maarten (Caribbean). The flight took around 3 hours.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a typical day in the Panama office, my lunches were usually 'green leafy' and some protein/carbs I packed from home. I seldom dine out for lunch coz there aren't many eateries near the office.
LOL, my post is so unstructured with back-and-forth Panama, Sint Maarten and BVI....I'm still sorting out my photos. Stay tuned!
RM9 Car Wash
Potted plants at my parent's house...ah, finally some natural greens (instead of fake plants)....
Went for car wash at the Shell petrol station along PLUS highway - RM9
Super huge Mixue vanilla softserve - RM2
My first meal after back in M'sia is not nasi lemak but curry chicken rice at Sunny Food Republic. It came with acar and sambal at RM11 nett.
The bright interior of Panama airport, taken on departure day. This is Terminal 2.
The kitchen of my airbnb home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Their Subway menu is extensive!
They have grilled meat (which is grilled on the spot upon order), some cold cuts as well as beef, chicken and bacons too.
All other veggies/condiments/sauces are same as ours, unless you order the grilled version which has its own sauces (like chimichurri, guacamole etc)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Illegal parking will be fined up to USD2000. Don't play play!
My clear fridge food....
And the view outside my airbnb unit. On a fine day, you can see the vessels/cargo ships queuing at the ocean to enter the canal.
Quiet Weekend in Panama
While in Panama, there was one long weekend with off days on Monday & Tuesday, hence I don't get to go to the office (public holiday, all offices closed) but I was still working from the hotel.
Hence, in the morning I took my sweet time to have a heavy breakfast so that I could skip lunch....
My second plate is full of raw stuffs....salmon, ham, fruits and some green leafy.
Then I also had omelette....
Flush down with 2 glasses of juices and 1 glass of plain water.
3 plates in total.....my extravagant breakfast!
When evening comes, I went to the gym.
There's no one there, just me.
The sunset view from the gym.
A fully equipped gym.
I don't usually do weightlifting....mostly focus on the treadmill.
A water dispenser with paper cups is provided.
Next to the gym is the hotel pool.
Not a huge one, just moderate size.
You can have a view of the surrounding commercial buildings while hanging out at the pool area.
1.46 m depth
The view of the quiet streets below.
From afar, the Pacific Ocean.
Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen
Some souvenirs sold at the hotel's souvenir shop.....including this snake....
It's actually quite comfy to hold and squeeze this snake or just hang it around your shoulder and neck when cold.
Some fridge magnets and miniatures
[Below] Sunny day outside the office, taken on my last day before leaving to the airport.
Had our last meal with my manager before we took the same flight to AMS. He is taking another flight back to London from there.
I had Bolognaise penne pasta
and Ferrero roche cake
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The company driver arrived on time to pick us up to the airport. We were the first few in the queue for check-in.
Check-in was breeze and I had ample time to walk around the airport and explore the place/shops.
Look at the clean white marble floor.....you can't spot any trash at all.
Then I spotted something sparkling from afar.....
This airport is the homebase for Copa Airlines (below) and is a regional hub to and from the Caribbean, South, North and Central America.

La Boucherie @ Multiplaza, Panama City

On my last day in Panama, my manager asked if I had any plans for dinner before we both flew back to our respective countries the following day.
He then suggested to try out La Boucherie in Multiplaza mall...
I immediately accepted his suggestion coz i've never been to this mall nor the restaurant before.
New thing is always a 'yes' from me😀
He is just as adventurous when it comes to food.
Here's the starter (on the house)....garlic bread with some dippings....tomato salsa and the rest I couldn't remember exactly what...but they are good!
[Below] This is our real starter....garlic shrimp casserole....We both shared this.
For drink, I had purple gin. Refillable plain water was also provided.
My main - tournedos rossini which is a thick cut from the tenderloin served on toasted brioche. I requested the tenderloin to be cooked rare.
[Below] The restaurant interior....
It is an 'atas' restaurant in an 'atas' mall. I think only 3 tables were occupied while we were there...
It is located in the city center, hence you could enjoy the nice city view outside before the skies turn dark.
Overall, a good meal with great ambience👍
Definitely not a cheap meal....well, that's under company expense😆

Back to the cinema after so many years…

The last time I went to the cinema was....8 years ago (I think). It was so long that I am kinda 'jakun' with the modern days' ci...
