City Hall Orchestra

The "Festival Orkestra KL" was held from 31 May till 29 June. During this whole month, there were several orchestra concerts held in the KL City Hall. Some were free but got to book for tickets via online.
Managed to secure tickets for the Sunday evening slot from 5pm to 6:30pm.
The hall was full-house coz of weekend.
The orchestra were led by conductors from China, Philippines and Malaysia respectively. Each conductor took the stage for 30 minutes, directed the performance of several compositions from their respective countries. The famous one is "Jasmine Flower" which is a Chinese song, then the Malaysian conductor directed the performance of P. Ramlee’s compositions.

After the orchestra concert ended, I walked to the nearby Sogo mall and had dinner at the foodcourt....
Tried this teppanyaki chicken.....
Just another foodcourt item, so the taste & quality subpar only.
The miso soup is so diluted.....
It has been decades since i last went to Sogo mall. I remembered it was one of the prestige mall in KL back in the early 90s, but now it is just another sunset mall....so quiet on a Sunday evening. Maybe the weekdays will get better with human traffic from the nearby offices(?)
~~~~~~~~~~~
Took the LRT back home. Our LRT rail track has long been exposed without glass barrier doors since begin operation in the late 90s. Not all stations but most are like this. It was only recently after the incident of a Taiwanese man fell onto the track, the authority begins to take action of putting up the barrier doors (which would take time).
But true enough, it is actually quite dangerous and accident prone with such exposed track.
[Below] The KL Street on a quiet Sunday evening....
Do you see KLCC?
Sogo mall on the left....
Why was the street so quiet? What time was it? Did you go alone?
Mun: 8pm, coz it's Sunday. Nope, not alone, with sis & BIL but they have other plan after the concert.
I remember Sogo used to be so happening decades ago. The last time I was there it was already very much like an el cheapo mall. Your teppanyaki chicken meal looked good. Ya, soups served at restaurants tend to be diluted. Might as well don't serve.
