Recently, there has been a number of Japanese & Korean eateries opened around the neighbourhood....While I have tried out most of the bigger & well-known ones, the smaller eateries have been forgotten, until one day I ran out of option.
and I noticed that I haven't been to this place before...
This place is dim, sort of "fusion place" judging from its interior and decoration...
it sort of restaurant cum pub as one part of it has bar tables and benches...it got me even more confused when it should be serving bbq and steamboats...
and more strange is that it has Chinese lanterns!
anyhow, putting the ambience & interior aside, I browsed thru the menu but was not in the mood for any steamboats or bbq...
well, what more can I choose when I'm dining alone?
RAMEN!
i had this pork broth ramen and it tasted so-so...
Now, they seems to be Jack of all trade, but master of none...luckily this bowl of ramen wasn't that bad, but for a price of RM18++, I would prefer having my ramen at a proper ramen shop.

My favourite in every Japanese restaurant is the ramen, although bento sets are usually more worth it and more filling.. Just look at the soup, so pekat and rich, and ooooo the egg too.. Yummzzz..
Too bad about that...jack of all trade but master of none... :(
WTF?! A bar in a steamboat and BBQ restaurant. And is there even such a thing called Japanese BBQ? Haih... I think must be another of those "I have a dream" owners... :/
Princess Ribbon: I like creamy broth and soft boiled egg too!
Small Kucing: yea, end up losing the customer.
RealGunners: I guess this owner has lotsa dreams...he wanted to do 'everyting' in his small shop.
hmmm, jack of all trade but master of none.. guess probably because the business isn't good and they are trying to have more varieties to attract customers??
Ok. Don't think I will try out this place then. Seems like we eat around the same neighbourhoods. Thanks for the warning.
Haha! Yeah, we live in the same area. :)
I went to this place with my better half a few months ago - also had their ramen (not really good) and gyoza (dismal). You're right, it's a strange place, lots of conflicting decorations.
There's also a curry ramen place (halal) inside Encorp Strand Mall itself but I haven't been - both of us not interested, also seems unpromising.
If I am not mistaken, Nux V went to thr one in Sri Petaling.
