Went for an AGM for a company that owns the kit kat and milo brand...
It was held in the M World Hotel Bandar Utama, formerly known as Avante hotel.
The meeting started at 10 but most shareholders were already there in the early morning to collect their freebies/breakfast and participated in the 'fun fair'.
They have a mini 'fun fair' with food samplings and games to win more freebies, which are their food/beverage products.
Free Kit Kat and Milo ice-creams too....

Hong Fu Lao Dim Sum
Had dim sum on last weekend. It has been some time since i last had one.
Ordered the following:
Xiao long bao - RM8.50
Tastes OK with flavorful pork broth beneath the doughy skin wrapper.
Shrimp cheung fun - RM7.50
There are roughly 6 medium size fresh shrimps wrapped inside the rice noodle rolls. Sambal belacan is provided by default. Smooth cheung fun with pleasant savoury taste from the soy sauce😋
Mushroom, chicken and waxed sausage rice - RM13.90
Boneless chicken thigh meats with few pieces of lap cheong and shiitake mushrooms, on top of white rice doused with their signature dark soy sauce. Taste 'homely', like my mum-cooked rice-pot chicken rice.
Total price after service charges and tax: RM34.70 nett
I will definitely order these items again.

Ahhhh, my neighbourhood Dim Sum stall at the coffeeshop has very nice mushroom chicken rice pot too. Yums yumeh but they only operate during the weekends on Sat and Sun. Their business so good that just these 2 days is good enough.

I attended an AGM before as a proxy many years ago but got no nice food LOL! I heard that many retirees treat AGM as an outing and for free makan. It's quite a good idea hah...hah....
Indeed there are many retirees went for the AGM. Working ppl will not simply take leave jst to attend such event😅
My dream is to work at an F&B company! With loads of foodie freebies sighhh.
