Gala Dinner

It was an appreciation dinner for Genting members and was held at their convention center located in the First World hotel building. I think there were about 100 tables in this hall.
It has been some time since i dined in a huge hall. The wedding banquets that i normally attended does not go up to 100 tables. Perhaps the final time was in company annual dinner around 10 years ago, coz after then i worked in smaller companies.
The menu:
The starter plate...ok la....each person can take one😂
braised abalone, sea cucumber, mushrooms with broccoli....
While enjoying the dinner, there was stage performances by our local Teresa Teng.
Pretty lass with nice voice. It feels like watching the real Teresa on stage coz she sounded and look very much like her. She belted out a few popular songs from the late singer. Too bad she's born into this era, otherwise she could be famous like the original singer, instead of being labelled as impersonator.
Anyway, great evening with foods and entertainment. Looking forward to next year's gala dinner (if ever got invited again😀)

I don't eat abalone but I love sea cucumbers hahaha if you know what I mean. But it is real, just a coincidence. Mushrooms and broccoli ok for me too. You live near Genting HIghlands ah? I would have enjoyed the performance if I was there.

Due to multiple delays, the flight departs quite late, around 10pm plus. When I reached the Langkawi airport, it was already 11pm, but fret ...
