Tried out a newly opened ramen shop, originated from Yokohama...
This shop takes on the shoplot previously tenanted by Bosozoku Ramen (another ramen restaurant)
I guess they retained some parts of the interior without much renovation.
On the wall, it showcases their various outlets in Japan....it seems like an established ramen shop in Japan.
[Below] The ramen bar for solo diners๐
Menu board....
For those who are seated far from this bar and couldn't see the menu board, no worry, menu is provided.
I asked their staff what is their specialty ramen, and he pointed out the Yokohama Iekei ramen....so, there you go...
It has a soft-boiled quail egg, a slice of pork charsiu, seaweed sheets and blanched spinach (i think) with thick pork broth...The pork broth is so flavorful, though could be salty for some.
Their noodle is slightly thicker than the usual ramen, but it is still good and al dente.
It was a good bowl of soup ramen.
This is how the entrance looks like...very Japanese style...
Price is reasonable, I will definitely be back to try out other ramen๐

I love ramen and there are two outlets that sell ramen (with one new one coming soon)at The Starling. Look forward to seeing you try other ramen from this restaurant.
Thank you for the review. I didn't notice this shop. Let me go find the location.
Good that you asked the staff what is their specialty and it turned out nice to you. Though I am not into ramen but I definitely would love a flavourful broth.
No partitions for the solo diners? That is what they do in Japan.
Guess though their decor is very Japanese style and has a Jap atmosphere, no partitions as it is in Malaysia, Malaysian diners may not like partitions, Jap people sometimes are weird people.
Lotus: i think they want to keep the bar seats open for any diner, not just solo. I personally dislike partition coz i like to look see around on what other ppl is eating๐
Mun: same row as Maybank.

Same here. I like to "kaypoh" and see what others are eating to judge myself if they are nice or not.
Thanks for the location info! ☺️ ๐
