Buddies Bistro, IOI City Mall

This place looks kinda dark...and secluded
it is facing the stretch of alfresco style dining area in IOI city mall...
And is obviously a pub/bistro
 quiet during daytime....
but it has set lunch offer on its menu with reasonable price!
u can order beer to go with ur meal...but well, it's just too early for a beer session at noon!
we ordered the set meal - RM16.80 (excludes service charges + GST)
for starter u can have either salads...
 or soup of the day
i ordered soup of the day + iced lemon tea
as for the mains - here's my smoked duck with pilaf rice
the smoked duck was very well marinated and flavorful but oily...
tender and succulent duck meat....superbly delicious!
BON APPETIT!

Oi, what? Beer is round the clock type of beverage leh. The only thing inappropriate is clubbing and getting wasted in the middle of the day. >.<

Also, you know... if you are coming from Sri Petaling, IOI City Mall is actually further away than "too far away" Cheras (my parents' stall). Just saying. XD

RealGunners: yea, beer is round the clock beverage, but it is wasted to enjoy it during midday where u gotta go back to ofis to continue working after that. Leave it for evening party would do good. Btw, IOI city mall is just 3 min drive from my ofis...so u can imagine how near it is :-P

Mun: yea that piece of meat is equivalent to 3 portions of char siu that we normally get from Chinese stall!

Suituapui: yea, memang sedap!

This place looks good with delicious duck served. IOI City Mall is a bit too far away for me.
