Few weeks back I blogged about my late nite shopping for a sandal. Yea, I dun usually do late shopping unless is REALLY necessary. And I was desperately needing to get a beach sandal coz I dun have a pair since it has been ages since I last went to the beach!
Anyhow, as the title shows...I actually went to Bali during the long weekend when BERSIH 4.0 was held. Here are some of the snippets (of photos that I took).
Sunset at Jimbaran, this was taken on the first day where we dine by the seaside 'purposely' to watch the sunset...The view wasn't that spectacular as it was cloudy.
Flight meal - The veggie was overcooked and tasted like overnite leftover food. This was probably the worst flight meal that I took on MAS flight...after all it was the first day that MAB took over. Despite being hungry, I did not manage to finish the food.
Grilled seafood served during the beach dining. Looks good but tasted awful...The fish and skewer were OK, but for the rest - eat at your own risk, coz they were not cleaned thoroughly.
Dinner at an Indonesian restaurant...food was so-so, but the fish dishes were excellent. Yea, I had a few types of fishes (steamed with different gravy and the crispy fried one)
and lastly the remembrance company photo...
yea, it was a sponsored company trip ;-)

The name has been changed, dunno if there will be any difference, hopefully a change for the better...and not from Mana Ada Sistem...to Mana Ada Bagus. They have stopped their flights between Kuching and Sibu, leaving only the small MasWings' ATR aircrafts - their so-called rural air services. Doesn't matter one bit - we have Air Asia, a whole lot better in more ways than one - their service around here. I've blogged about it before.
Company sponsored trip? Gee!!! Some people have all the luck.
Nice, lovely company trip.. Food I remembered I had in Bali were satay babi, and dunno wat crispy Ubud duck, nice..
Huh... strange. Usually company sponsored trips, the food will be decent at least. Makan is the single most important aspect of a company outing, isn't it?
Too bad about the awful beach dining with seafood not cleaned properly but still I hope you enjoyed the company trip.
suituapui: Personally, I think the current MAB sounds more like 'Mana Ada Bagus'...
Princess Ribbon: unfortunately I dun have the chance to taste babi guling and that crispy duck as all our meals were already arranged by the tour agent.
RealGunners: this year the company trip were organized by a bunch of young amateur...so, u know how the 'standard' is...
Mun: yea, I enjoyed it coz the trip is fully paid...lol!
Nice!
My flight to Bali was using MAB too but I couldn't take it coz I was in Taiwan and they cancelled on me. Grr...still very pissed off at them coz I couldn't take it back either even though I made in on another flight there.
The food (MAB) from Taipei to KL and KL to Taipei wasn't good too.
Huai Bin: yea the food (both ways) were that terrible! anyway, I can only hope they improve over the time.
