Passed by Franco a few times and most of the time it was crowded during lunch & dinner...
it was one of those days that I decided to have my late dinner after work, and since it is no longer the peak dinner hour, the patron were lesser and I got a chance to get myself a corner seat.
Ordered an ink squid rice (as I heard that it is worth trying...)
It came out like this when served on my table.
flip over the side of the omu egg and beneath is the black rice...so dark like charcoal!
the shrimps and squid were indeed fresh, but the black rice taste bland and abit on the oily side.

this is the view from my seated place, part of the section has already closed (almost closing time!)
Will I come again?
Yea, perhaps to try out their desserts...

Squid ink memang tasteless one. I don't know why people eat it. Probably some health properties with the ink...
Not salty? The one I ate at One Utama is a bit salty for the rice. Which branch is this?
I've never tried ink squid rice, but I've eaten ink squid pasta before.. The pasta is black, but the sauce is creamy white sauce, but once mixed into the pasta, all become black also, nice also la the taste..
Oh I love this place too! :)
I've been here with my better half, awesome food. I ordered the same thing as you did too. Their food is great.
RealGunners: health? I thought all seafood (except certain fish) are high in cholesterol?
Mun: no salty at all...the rice is almost tasteless...perhaps they forgot the seasoning(?)...This outlet is in IOI citymall.
Princess Ribbon: I tink they have squid ink pasta too...
Huai Bin: they have those fusion French & Japanese dessert which I tink is great, will gonna try 'em one day.
