Al Majunas @ Sri Serdang

Al Majunas
Sometime during the fasting month, me and my colleague (who was fasting) went to Al Majunas for dinner (and her buka puasa time). We used to have this 'tradition' of 'breaking fast' together in the office or at some eateries over the past years. Despite we are no longer working in the office this year, we still went to our favourite 'buka puasa spot' for some catch-up.
We ordered the same food - cheese naan and chicken tandoori. Both were good as they were prepared fresh upon order. It has been some time since i eat from a steel plate like this.

HK Roast Shop
Roasted duck breast bought from HK Roast, Sri Petaling for about RM12++
It was boneless....i wonder how they remove the bones till having no trace at all😂
Yes, it was tender and succulent. I will buy this again.
A few slices of cucumbers hidden beneath.

RT Bakery
Taro bun and egg tarts from RT Bakery. Both were OK. The color on taro bun looks scary though.
The egg tarts sold here are pricier than Berry's (RM5.40 for a box of 2)
I still prefer their Portuguese egg tart which has crispy, buttery crust that is priced at RM6 for a box of 2.

20 years ago that area was particularly an empty land with only a few blocks of apartments.

  1. I like to eat chicken tandoori and naan. Wow, rm12 for the duck breast is such a good price. I must go buy it. Thanks for the photos, the duck breast meat looks so good.

  2. I can eat pastries from RT Bakery daily but I don't allow myself to do that cos will weigh a ton. Ah, nice view. You got a unit in pinnacle condo now?

  3. I love buttery crust too. The Duck breast meat looks delicious. Usually I would order roti prata rather than naan but yours looks yummy.

I like to visit JB and look at the high rise condo facing the sea across the causeway, very nice seaview these condos have.

Maybe planning for a trip to JB this July.

    Enjoy your weekends.
