Roadside Burger in Costa del Este

There is a burger/hotdog truck operating in the evening right opposite the office, starting from 5pm onwards till midnite. There is usually a long queue coz the burger/hotdog catered to local taste. So, i decided to try it one day.
Ordering was thru a 'counter' where payment is made first before they pass over the order to the 'kitchen' which is just at the other side of the truck. There are a few people manning the business - 1 lady taking over the payment counter, 2-3 guys manning the stove and assembly line, another lady does the packing and call out names for collection. Quite systematic.
My first time of ordering food in Spanish, with my lousy, slightly off pronunciation😂
When they replied me with more words (in Spanish) i was stunned, coz i dunno what they were saying/asking. But i made a good guess and managed to get it thru...phew!
This is how my burger looks like. The size equivalent to a BK Whopper burger.
I ordered a quarter pounder beef, which has a thick patty, cheese, some tiny potatoes bites, lettuce, tomatoes and loads of sauces...similar to our Ramly burger. No wonder their locals like it so much! It is flavorful, and i guess our locals would like it too.
yummmmzzz!

  1. Somehow roadside burger taste better than McD or those franchise burger places.

  3. I have been eating burgers since a kid before McDonald's came to Malaysia.
I agree that roadside Malay stalls are more delicious and mouthwatering....
