Albrook Mall - Second Largest Mall in the Americas

This was one of my weekend outing with Mr-Nice-Guy.
Besides a foodie, he is also a shopaholic, so we went to his fav mall in Panama, the Albrook mall.
Despite being the second largest mall in the America continent, it is still the largest in Latin America.
Opened in the year 2002, this mall has been around for 2 decades and therefore the interior is pretty dull and not as fancy as our malls.
However, it does have some interesting feature such as this escalator.
[Below] The interior somewhat reminds me of 1U old wing building.
The mall has only 2 stories, but it occupies a huge land area. Walking from one end to the other took us 40 minutes ++
The mall comprises of a few supermarkets, a cinema, plenty of departmental stores, furniture & electrical shops, boutiques etc, with a good mixture of international and local brands. It also has entertainment arcade and bowling alley. Me & Mr-nice-guy enjoyed browsing at the furniture as if we are a couple staying together. We both were fascinated with the modern design and were so tempted to buy, unfortunately we are not the resident there๐Ÿ˜’. We also went to the entertainment arcade to watch people battling with their games like there is no tomorrow๐Ÿ˜‚.
[Below] It is a pet-friendly mall, and shoppers can bring their dogs in. This will never happen in Malaysia.
There are at least 2-3 large foodcourts at both ground and first floor. Yes, they have fast food like KFC, Burger King, Wendy's, Popeye's as well as local restaurants/stalls.
Here are some stalls that captured my attention. It offers set meal at promotional price.
The foods at foodcourts are quite diverse, ranging from western to Asian cuisine.
They have set meals of rice with dishes too.
[Below] Meat/seafood dishes.
Some affordable combo meal sets. Fried fish, fried rice, salad and drink at a reasonable price.

  1. Wah, I dunno whether I would want to use that escalator which is inside the dinosaur's mouth or not.

  2. Wow, what a fun and detailed blog post about your weekend outing to Albrook Mall! ๐Ÿ˜„ It feels like I was right there with you and Mr-Nice-Guy, exploring the second largest mall in the Americas. I can totally relate to the excitement of being in a shopping paradise and discovering all the amazing things it has to offer. ๐Ÿ›️๐Ÿ’ซ

The mall may not be the fanciest, but it sounds like it more than makes up for it with its size and variety of shops. I love how you and Mr-Nice-Guy were browsing the furniture section as if you were a couple living together. ๐Ÿ˜‚ It’s always tempting to buy something when you come across a modern design that catches your eye, even if you’re not a resident there. The entertainment arcade must have been a blast too, watching people battle it out in their games. ๐ŸŽฎ

  3. And can we talk about the pet-friendly policy of the mall? Bringing your dogs along while shopping is something I can only dream of here in Malaysia. ๐Ÿถ It’s great to see that they have plenty of food options too, from fast food chains like KFC and Burger King to local restaurants/stalls. The set meals and combo meal sets definitely caught my attention. ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฅ—

  4. Actually... I was just at Waterfront in Desa Parkcity, where there are dogs everywhere. Arkadia (less of a mall since it's so spread out) is similar.
