Baan Thai 2 Seafood & Thai Cuisine Restaurant @ Kuchai Lama

Dinner with family on last Sunday in this well-established Thai restaurant located nearby our place.
The restaurant is huge but fret not, service was quick and food quality was consistent. The place has a good 'fengsui' with manmade water stream 'flowing' in the middle of the dining hall.
The place seems to be well designed to ensure good ventilation with a few giant ceiling fans and bamboo layered walls.
The menu is extensive with dishes ranging from various seafood to chicken and pork dishes.
We ordered:
Steamed Siakap Fish in Spicy Lime Sauce @ RM49.50
The fish was fresh and goes well with the sour lime sauce. Quite appetizing!
 Stir-fried Water Spinach @ RM14.30
The taste is quite similar to the one I had in BKK...excellent fish sauce!
 Stir-fried Minced Pork in Basil @ RM22.00
I can eat this with lotsa rice...but beware of the cili padi!
Deep-fried Chicken in Pandan Leaves @ RM26.50 for 6 pieces
The chicken is well marinated (with aromatic turmeric and lemongrass)
We also ordered a jug of Pandan water @ RM5.50, which is enough for 5 person.
For dessert, we shared three bowls of Red Ruby @ RM5.50 each
All the dishes taste great and quite close to those I had in BKK.
No doubt coz this place is featured in TripAdvisor with good ratings.
In case u are 'adventurous' in exploring the premise, you will find some hilarious signboards all around the place, such as:
and this (at the payment counter)...
Total price for the meal: RM167.60 (for 5 pax) inclusive of 10% Service Charge and 6% Service Tax
