Nasi Kerabu

This blue-looking rice isn't tainted with some coloring, but instead it is my fav 'Nasi Kerabu'...
I took this for lunch yesterday as my colleague 'ta-pau' from the UPM campus canteen. I requested to add a side dish - fried calamari rings! And it became 'Nasi Kerabu Sotong Goreng'! The usual 'Nasi Kerabu' comes with salted egg, but is missing from my packet of rice...despite that it was still delicious.
this huge packet of nasi kerabu costs only RM5!
and the plain version (without any side dish) is only RM3. Such a great deal!
I should buy from this stall often....

  4. Not a fan of nasi kerabu, but I think I can finish some rice and the salted egg (I always see nasi kerabu with half salted egg).. hehe..

  5. So cheap! I usually eat nasi kerabu in semi-nice restaurants, so the price is always more expensive..

    Mun: hehe...'student price'

Suituapui: i hardly can find nasi kerabu stalls even in pasar malam...Even if i could find one they are mostly expensive and crowded.

Princess Ribbon: i like it with salted egg...and keropok!

RealGunners: too bad Papparich doesn't have nasi kerabu in their menu, else i would have order that each time i go there.

  8. Nice! I haven't had nasi kerabu in a long time, living in the wrong area for it.

RM 5 with those calamari rings is a pretty good deal too! :)

  9. SK: yea, it is in campus, so they are sort of cheaper than usual price elsewhere ;-)

Huai Bin: it's hard to find nasi kerabu around my area too. When my colleague and I saw this, we immediately ordered without even looking at other stalls.
