My workplace Cafeteria seems to have change their management...hence nowadays we were served better food...
Better as in more delicious but when it comes to delicious, it simply means more msg, fats, sugar...etc that is rather unhealthy...I was wondering if the company wants to kill us make our life shorter?!?
On the other day i queued for about 20 minutes for this plate of super yummy char kuey teow (fried flat noodles)...I prefer mixing kuey teow & yellow noodles, hence mine was a mix.
Due to bad ventilation, the oily odour (comes from the frying) stick all over my clothes and hair....and i smelt like 'some fried stuffs'...yucks!!! That's the 'price' that i gotta pay to enjoy a plate of sinful fried noodles!

btw, this is from the office cafeteria...hence this lunch is F.O.C ;-)
So you get free food instead of subsidized meal like me? Superb!
ReplyDeleteoh I hate that most when the ventilation isn't good and got me smell all like a "cooking mom" even just stayed there for a minute!! :(
ReplyDeleteYummzz, CKT !! Everyone loves it, who doesn't? I love my CKT with lots of cockles too.. I usually order CKT mein too: Char kuey teow mein, more mein, lesser kuey teow, add "sang hum" (raw cockles), "oi lat" (spicy).. Hahahaha..
ReplyDeleteRealGunners: it is free food, but we dun get to choose much coz there is only 3 types of food on the menu daily. Luckily the menu varies daily.
ReplyDeleteSK: eh, dun stereotype the "mom". My mom cooks, but she dun smell awful after that.
Princess Ribbon: i dun like cockles, i usually order my plate without cockles...U really a CKT fan there.
How come your company is so nice! I am sure many people would want to work there. I don't know of any company giving free food for meals.
ReplyDeleteI also dislike smelling of oil but most of the time ended that way because no matter how good the ventilation is, if they have tai chow around, sure will smell like oil.
errr........look like mee goreng leh.....
ReplyDeleteMun: haha...that kinda food u wouldn't want to eat after a few meals la...summore is mostly spicy and oily stuffs. But to save $$, no choice but to eat in.
ReplyDeleteSmall Kucing: yeahor...too many noodles than the kuey teow itself ;-)
This looks good - better than many places outside...and the best things in life are free!
