Hainanese Chicken Chop Rice @ Nam Heong

[Throwback]

New item in Nam Heong. Hainanese chicken chop rice with spam and fried egg (RM16.90+)

Taste so-so only. The deep-fried chicken chop is quite oily. But I will order the similar item again perhaps with black pepper sauce or the salted egg gravy (for the chicken chop) just to try out the different flavors.

Had dinner in Warakuya, this time i had teriyaki chicken don which came with miso soup, kimchi, shredded cabbage (with cucumber & tomato) and a cube of tofu (RM20.90+)

Also ordered an ala-carte smoked duck sushi (RM24.90+). There is a thinly sliced mango beneath the smoked duck. Taste OK, not really my kind of sushi.....I think i better stick back to salmon or tuna.

Total bill came to RM53.10 nett after service charge and tax.

I like the doughy dumpling skin and the succulent pork with chives dumpling, so I went back to Fu Man Yuen the other day to get my 'dumpling fix'. RM13.80 nett. Served with shredded ginger.
