The slightly different banchans this time....
Instead of macaroni salad, this time i got mashed potatoes...
Sundubu jjigae looks red but it isn't spicy at all. They provide 1 empty plate, so I can scoop out the ingredients and let them cool down before eating.
I like how they are generous with the kimchi....and they are fresh and crunchy.

Went to XLL Malahotpot again after 2 years.
The first time I went I was shocked with the huge portion that is enough to feed 3 pax....
This time I'm more well prepared....I bought along a container to tapao.
Instead of spicy mala, i opted for the 'least spicy' level and with Tomyum flavor.
Tapao half of it before proceeding to devour the rest....
The next day, I had the tapao ones eaten cold straight out from the fridge...it tastes like Chinese cold dish, which I like.
The bill is RM23 for the vegetarian option, including rice and drink.
*chicken or pork option will be slightly expensive

Oh, now I know you like cold dishes 😋🤤 you will like the cold chicken jelly appetizer in Han Room menu.
ReplyDeleteThese two places you review here, I haven't tried before. Hopefully can find time to try them as I usually eat food at 9 am before they open.
ReplyDeleteKorean food for me anytime! I love kimchi jiage and I have tried sundubu jigae one and loved it too. When it comes to hotpot, maybe I am lacking in understanding - some hotpot is steamboat while another is stir fried like what you had.
