A brief walk @ IKEA Cheras

It was a weekday and I passed by IKEA on my way back from KL city. Since it is a weekday, I presume there will be no crowds, and hence decided to drop by for a brief look-see.
Upon entering the building this display greets me at the concourse...
(It was sometime ago during the CNY, hence the 'red' theme)
*noticed the big fat carrots with feets...there are so cute!!!!
The food court...ermmm...I mean the dining area of the food court. And further up, 'My Town' shopping mall will be opening by end of this year (according to what is stated on the board).
the wall with sideway hanging plants creates a different ambience to the dining area...thumbs up for creativity!
here's their mini mart...selling all sorts of imported foods from Scandinavia
The IKEA show-hall... with lotsa living room prototypes
 this looks good
follow the direction on the floor/walkway and u will be led to the dining area section.
I kinda like this white table. Nice? I wonder if it is practical for hot surface...
next is the kitchen section
below: my dream kitchen!
 and another dream kitchen!
unfortunately I dun have such big kitchen at home...no way I could renovate it to be like this!
and guess what captured my attention here?
nope..it's not the dining table nor the lamp...
it's the rug pattern!
Ok enuff with the displays...let's move on...
yea...to the gardening stuffs and the greens...
 bright, spacious and green....me likey!
i'd like to have this bench at my garden too!
lastly, my trip wouldn't complete without having IKEA meatballs!
*I still prefer their meatballs to be served with fries...

First time at Ikea Cheras? I have only been there once during opening day, haha.

Some say the meatballs here look more sad compared to the ones in the Damansara outlet. True or not? I don't know because I have never eaten in the Damansara outlet. :/

Seems like this Ikea is nicer than Curve. I don't think I will go to this Ike considering Curve is so much nearer to my house.

Mun: yea first time...

RealGunners: I tink so...the meatball doesn't taste like those I had before in IKEA Damansara, but I have long never been to the Damansara outlet, hence I m not sure how the meatballs taste now.

Yee Ling: I think is about the same, I don't feel that it is larger than the Damansara outlet.

I have not visited the IKEA at Cheras yet. I never get tired of going inside for a walk and eat the delicious food. Next time I will pose inside their show units.

Libby: I thought of visiting IKEA SG last time but couldn't find time for it. I'm sure they sell some localize delicacies in their cafeteria too.

Twilight Man: haha, I like their currypuffs and ice cream!

During the weekdays, the driver would picked us (me & colleague) from the apartment at 8am daily. Sometimes he would use different route...
