SRK Kampua Noodles

I have read so much about this noodle house that i decided to try out their famous kampua noodles...
first time trying kampua noodles...the texture is springy but the noodles strand sticks together. It could be easily mistaken for kolo mee or perhaps hakka mee..yet i still can't differentiate them.
BON APPETIT!

Hahaha, very hard to differentiate one. Especially sometimes the restaurants here cheat my using kolo mee noodles and call it kampua. :/

With char siew and minced meat, it's Kuching kolo mee. But yes, my friend in KL, originally from Sibu, was here. She liked it! Personally, I prefer Kuching kolo mee to kampua. Taste, texture, all not the same.

We have them here too - kampua "dressed" to look like kolo mee, charging double the price, all the typical kolo mee toppings but the noodle taste is kampua, nothing more, nothing less - not the same so fail!

RealGunners: many of us in KL are not familiar with kampua/kolo mee differences and easily misled by some false claim.

It looks more like kolo mee than kampua with the minced meat and char siew. I guess it's still good, but I personally don't like kampua despite being (nearly) born in Kuching and spending the first 7 years of my life there in addition to 5 years working there.

During the weekdays, the driver would picked us (me & colleague) from the apartment at 8am daily. Sometimes he would use different route...
