My Curry Noodles Fix

My usual cravings for gali-mee mee kari (curry noodles) would end up in...
yea, u know this place well...if u r in M'sia (or SG & certain cities in Aussie)
but, when it isn't late (at nite) and most stalls are still in operation hours, I'll get my 'curry noodles fix' in a vegetarian shop.
And guess how much does this cost?
a dirt cheap RM2.50!!!
it may not taste as good as those with cockles and chicken, but good enuff to satisfy my cravings without feeling guilty of having this high-calories bowl of noodles, coz it is vegetarian!
*it looks fiery red hot, but it is definitely not spicy at all!
BON APPETIT!

Vegetarian curry mee never spicy one, dunno why. I guess is because they don't eat a lot of spices in general. The religious vegetarians think spices (same like garlic) will stimulate their senses and affect their "calmness"..

I would have never guessed in a MILLION years that the bowl only costs RM 2.50! Not in Klang Valley anyway. That's quite a deal.

I didn't realize it was vegetarian until I read your sentence too. The long thing sure looks like chicken.

Mun: the shop is in Sri Petaling, nearby HoHo Steamboat.

Libby: dun deceived by its color ;-)

RealGunners: yea, true, this is a very mild curry.

Small Kucing: get well soon and u will be able to eat curry again ;-)

Yee Ling: it's vegetarian, and this shop is sort of non-profitable and funded by some Buddhist donors/society, hence the price is cheap. A lot of skool kids went there for lunch before goin for their tuition nearby.

Huai Bin: I tink u hav mistakenly thought the first picture is vegetarian...The first one isn't vegetarian, it is the usual curry noodles from Papparich. Only the bottom picture is the vegetarian curry noodles.

There are a few vegetarian shops in that row. One day when I go there again, I will check it out. Thanks!

Oh, I get it now. Haha! Yeah, I was sure that the first dish was a non-vegetarian dish. It didn't look vegetarian at all.
