Review: Christmas @ Mid Valley & The Gardens Mall

Well, Christmas has passed for a week now, and somehow i m posting this rather outdated personal review of last year mall decorations...And oh, before I forget, let me wish you readers a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!
Thanks for your continuous support and visits to this blog...Alrite, this might be a boring post coz it seems like most of us have been to MV/The Gardens during this festive season, but well, it is sort of an "annual chore" for me to visit those malls and snapped a few pics for remembrance especially during the year end....Let me start....
The Christmas decorations @ The Gardens this year seems to hav added some colors compared to the plain decorations in previous years.
There are huge and tall trees heavily decorated with colorful ornaments and chandeliers...
some areas are quite empty whereas some corner are packed with 'Victorian-style-items' such as furnitures, old style luggage bag, mannequins, chandeliers...etc.
i'd prefer to have the most basic Christmas tree with blinking/glittering ornaments...minus the antiques and mannequins.
Personally, i feel that these mannequins are kinda scary especially when it is dressed in such Victorian fashion!
besides, i hav no idea why the chair is being displayed on stage, when it is not for sale.
Well, i guess The Gardens has failed in trying to achieve the theme "Victorian-style Christmas".
Meanwhile, in Mid Valley, the centre court is filled with merriment & joy as there are huge replica of mushrooms, flowers and 'animals' at the Centre Court. The place has been converted into a mini Wonderland (as in Alice in Wonderland). Sure a good place that makes the kids happy  for photography.
Well, that's for Mid Valley & The Gardens,

Princess Ribbon: yea, generally all Christmas deco is nice. But this year most mall seems like cut cost with simple deco or old ideas...Not as extravagant as yesteryears.

RealGunners: coz u r based in Penang...If u r in KL for sure u have already gone to MV way earlier than me ;-)

Happy New Year to you and your family! I go to this place every weekend. I was surprised by the mannequins in the Gardens Christmas display.

I have been to Pavilion and One Utama to see the Christmas deco. Even miss the Sunway one.

Mun: thanks Mun, Happy New Year to you too!

Yee Ling: Sunway Pyramid is not as extravagant as Pavilion. If u've seen the Pavilion, the rest would look crappy, i mean less attractive.

During the weekdays, the driver would picked us (me & colleague) from the apartment at 8am daily. Sometimes he would use different route...
